Enterprise. . .? [Action][Back-dated]

Speaking honestly Spock did not realize that his location had changed until he found himself walking down a hallway that led to a bar he was almost entirely certain did not exist. However, the knows that he was travelling with purpose across the ship. So much so that the difference did not register until he noted the cosmetic differences between the Enterprise he knew and the Enterprise that was in front of his eyes. He had a PADD in hand, phaser at his hip, and his own--what appears to be outdated--Starfleet uniform on.

Interesting. Will any of his communication devices work? He isn't sure. Who would they reach even if they did? If he is in the future relatively speaking his options are quite limited. Those he is aware of will be dead no doubt. No matter. This lounge is a social area and an opportunity for him to properly investigate before making incorrect assumptions as to what just happened to himself and to his former crew.

So whoever is sitting at the lucky table Spock approaches, if you're a Starfleet officer you'll probably notice he looks like a much younger verison of Ambassador Spock. If not that he is notably vulcan in demeanor and methodology of speech. "Pardon me but can I inquire the stardate?"

Once he knows that he can go from there.

Henry was sitting with his books as well as a few PADDs on the table but looks up when he sees the Vulcan approach. He pauses for a moment, trying to recall the number he asked of the computer earlier that morning.

"Sure. It's 43963.14." He smiled then continued with his own question. "You've got pointy ears. Are you Vulcan?"

He arches a brow in surprise but that surprise doesn't reach his face. He simply places his arms behind him. He is nearly one hundred and fifty years in the future. That is quite strange considering the does not remember the Enterprise passing through any black holes as of late. He regards the child with no ill will however. This isn't his first encounter with time displacement and it's affects. "Half-vulcan and half-human respectively." He corrects. "Do you know the name of the current captain of this star ship?"

Henry thought for a moment then looked up in shock and surprise, not to mention excitement. "You're Spock, aren't you?"

Grinning, he calmed himself to answer the man's question. "It's Picard. Captain Jean-Luc Picard."

"Affirmative." Well that's different. No one should be able to recognize him as young as he is now but there are still similarities between himself and Spock Prime. "I'm afraid I'm not familiar with him." Which means they're in the past or the future. "But indulge my curiosity. How do you know me? I would remember meeting a child such as yourself."

Always so formal. Henry will get used to it. Just yell at him like Kirk does to loosen up.

"I read about you. I've been reading up on important people in the Federation ever since I got here. Spock and Kirk are plastered all over the 23rd Century. There aren't many famous half-Vulcan, half-humans out there."

Henry looks very excited to meet him. "I'm not surprised you don't know him, since he wasn't born until you were seventy-five and you don't look that."

He has a fan and wow that is weird. Most people hate him for being too emotionally detached. "So we are in the future. Fascinating. I am glad to hear that myself and Captain Kirk have done our contributions to the Federation. It was an aspiration we both shared."

Now that isn't something he expected to hear however he and Kirk have already left their mark on Starfleet as it is from his point in time but if this child has done his research he may be able to answer one burning question Spock has. "In your research did you ever come across any material that mentioned the planet known as New Vulcan?"

Henry nodded smiling. "Yeah. You guys are a team for most of your lives. It's really cool."

The question however falters the smile as the boy thinks. Then he slowly shakes his head. "Don't think I have, no. Why do you ask?"
