Two nurses rush from an adjoining room, pushing what can only be the unit Beverly asked for. She waves them over, instructing the rest of the staff to help her carefully lift Harper into the unit.
"I'm not sure we have anything so sophisticated as..." she begins to say, but her mind is working much faster than her mouth is. "The transporters!"
Her eyes light up, and she immediately starts doling out orders. "I need 40 CCs ambizine, and ready the cortical stimulators. Get him in the stasis unit now."
The stasis unit should suspend all cellular activity, including the growth of the eggs, while Dr. Crusher works out what to do. The ambizine is just a sedative, and should give Harper some relief.
