It's more professional than hard, though: she lacks Coates' charm and easygoing humor, but she is here to do a job, and her job involves investigating the disruptions to timelines and universes here.

"Just checking in on the situation on this ship." If her words are intended to be reassuring, they don't, necessarily, come across that way. Perhaps it's the fatigue she's feeling -- more than she should be. "Do I take it you are one of our visitors from other timelines?"

Simply saying the words is enough to make her want to shudder, but she holds that back.
