Perhaps one of the more interesting things about their particular code is that they don't need to say anything. Which meant they could communicate with no one hearing them. Of course this was intentional. Their older brother and youngest aunt and uncle picked up some of the code, but they've never taught it to anyone.

They do need their secrets.
