Well, the Doctor is in a mood. The only solace he has right now is that the energy from this universe isn't hurting the TARDIS. Beyond that, he's feeling a little lost. He hadn't realised how strong his connection with the TARDIS had become over the years. But, he'll never admit that the maelstrom of emotions is really what's causing him to be off.

But she mentions being restricted and healing... "You were wounded?"

It was less of a question and more of a statement. "Depending on the wounds, they should have been able to heal you quickly..."

Which makes him wonder what's going on.
