"Hi," she says, solemn except for the hint of mischief in the tilt of her mouth, the sparkle of her green eyes. She crouches to retrieve her hat, and sets it over her head at a jaunty angle.

"Just wonderin'. Do you have to chase her 'round the ship? She might think that it's all even more of a game then."

Although, Annie has to admit that Veena is looking very pleased with herself. Enough that it's hard to imagine her looking even more.
