Having him here certainly does affect her teaching style. For one, every time she looks in his direction she can't help but smile, bowing her head bashfully. For another, it does make her a mite bit nervous. She wonders if he'll be a tough critic.

She carries over her bound volume. Everything she's prepared comes straight from paper, both the books on her desk and the hand-written curriculum sitting in front of him on his desk. Perhaps someday she'll learn how to do this all on one of them PADDs, but for right now she's keeping to what she knows.
