Alex bounced, grinning, and shook his head. "Not at all. It's good to see you again. How have you been?"

He liked her, and thought she was pretty smart, and well-put together when he spoke to her before. He was glad to see her, and see that she had not been whisked away, to whatever fate might belong to her now.

For him, he just wanted to hope she was well.
