"2014," he says, brow wrinkled. "Obviously I haven't just been picked up from Earth, I've been picked up from time, too. Uh, we both have, I guess. I wonder how many decades I've missed this time?"

He can't help but sound a little bitter. It's taken him a lot of time to get used to the 21st century.
