On the Holodeck [Open]

In a way, Pike was glad that Kirk was no longer on the Enterprise. He was sure, once he managed to get his holodeck project up and running, the only person that would be using it more than him would be Kirk. Sure, Picard's Enterprise was nice, but in Pike's opinion, it paled in comparison to his own ship.

When the Holodeck doors opened, Pike was greeted by the sights and sounds of the Enterprise he captained for much less time than he originally thought. It was almost perfect, aside from the smell, but how does one program a smell into a computer program?

If anyone wandered into the holodeck, they'd find one very nostalgic Pike looking out of the 'viewscreen' at his favorite part of the solar system, Saturn and it's rings.

He had wandered in, prepared to load up his usual 'work' program, one for designing fabric without wasting any of his replicator resources.

But he sees the other man, and stops.

"Ah, it appears I am in the wrong holodeck. Do excuse me."

Trip entirely forgot his manners at finding himself on the bridge of a futuristic-looking ship, with a view of Saturn.

"This is the biggest bridge I've ever seen," he breathed, still amazed by it. Although he hadn't seen many, so that didn't say much.

As much as what he could see was interesting, he went over to the nearest console and tapped a few buttons.

Walking into the holodeck, not expecting anything but the grids of the holomatric, Grainne looked up from her PADD in surprise to find it already occupied. "Ah..." Walking from one ship to an entirely different one was a little bit, just a tiny bit, jarring, but she recovered quickly.

"Ah, excuse me, I didn't realize someone was using the holodeck..." It's a soft apology, but she looked around, curious at the surroundings. She hadn't known ship simulations were available, and then she caught sight of Saturn and openly stared.

Ayesh walked into the holodeck, having not realized anyone else was in there. She wore her usual off duty clothes, which meant a quilted black jacket and pants, and a thin shirt, her knapsack over her shoulders. She moved with the balanced ease of someone trained to fight. She was child short, but her face was mature, and there were silver threads in her dark hair.

"Computer," she started, then realized she was not alone. "Never mind," she said, then she bowed deeply to Pike. "My apologies."

She had seemed startled when she noticed him, but it vanished almost immediately, leaving her face a smooth and expressionless mask. Nothing about her betrayed any emotion.

Myka really did enjoy spending time on the holodeck, mostly because she loved to learn new things. She was passing one of the holodecks when she noticed the light on, but no privacy settings so she stepped inside.

"Oh wow," She breathed out looking around. She saw Pike then. "I'm sorry.... I can go."
