Minoru felt himself make contact. He landed on the branch, but before he could swing around again, Raiden successfully grabbed his leg.

"Thanks, but no thanks!"

Chakra instinctively flooded into his hands, and he stuck himself to that branch rather than be taken to the ground. If Raiden was intending to fall in one direction, Minoru would try to swing him in a different one.
