He didn't feel her energy as much as he did her body's need for it. And no, he didn't consider that selfish either. No more so than being hungry or sleepy. He simply closed his eyes and let her take what was freely given.

Eventually, he was able to feel the pull subside. It wasn't until that point that his snake released and retracted back into his arm.
