Harper is 100% unmodified human and proud of it. Even if he's not so well off with his weak immune system to name one of the downsides. He wouldn't change how he was for anything. As was mirrored with the way he appeared when he was plugged in to a computer via the data port. Most people changed how they were like that. Harper still looked exactly the same.
