Aeryn is not fond of this whole idea. Not the mandatory physical part.
She's had a lifetime of those. Regulations, rules and order followed as expected. But this is an enforced order. This is all of them being rounded up like potential hazards.
This is not nearly long enough since the events with NamTar and Pilot that she'd even grown comfortable with Zhaan's entreating her that they should track her recovery. It was unnecessary. She was fine. She'd said it enough times before. Even if she's standing there, waiting, nowhere near at ease and still armed, being watched by their security officer due to John joking about her temperament, before he was distracted by something on the other side of the room. Another impossibly familiar thing from this place he knew.
She's fine. She is. Counting slow and steady in her head, not blinking too many times in a row. Which has nothing to do with why she's noticing that she still can't hear anything from this ship, too.
