Holo-fun with holograms - Locked to John Sheppard ltcolonel
Picking out a time to work on his porject wasn't that difficult. Securing the holodeck time... that was the tough.
So, here he was, in the depths of the Ship's night, walking into a free holodeck, pausing by the arch to load something into the control console, before stepping into the centre of the room.
"Computer, load program Lantea One."
The scene folds into place of a beautiful-looking room, sun streaming through the windows, and lighting the room pleasantly. If you listen closely, there's the sound of the ocean coming from outside.
Smiling slightly, Orlin turns around to face the wall where the door had been. "Computer, load component G21 from file Orlin-Lantea."
And a ring-shaped object appears in it's place, a set of seven chevrons indicated around it's blue circumference. Following the pattern, there may be an additional two set under the floor.
Meanwhile, outside the holodeck, anyone passing the panel will notice the following on the LCARS display by the door: HOLODECK: ACTIVE - PROGRAM: LANTEA 1. ENTER WHEN READY.
