OTA - Ro has returned to the Enterprise
Before Sickbay -
Ro was sitting in Ten forward, coloring. Just as she had been a moment ago. She was 12 years old again, thanks to a transporter malfunction during a spacial anomaly that broke up her shuttle craft. The other three had been restored to adulthood already, but Ro had finally taken Guinan's advice, and for just a few brief moments had decided to allow herself to embrace being a kid.
Maybe it wasn't some glorious second childhood, maybe her body had been violated but... Even as a bunch of kids, they had just kicked some serious Ferengi butt. So what could one picture hurt? She never had drawn a picture of her mother when she was younger.
But when she looked up to hand Guinan the blue crayon... she found herself alone. Her brows furrowed. Where... had she gone? Frowning, she stood to look for her. She didn't gain much height from standing. She was tired of being 12. Her phaser rode comfortably on her hip, and she reminded herself that twelve or not, she could, and would, defend this vessel. Already had.

"Woah! Hey, outta the road, Short Round, people're walkin' here."
His tone is jovial, regardless of the words. He doesn't mean any insult or reprimand by them.
"Gotta say, people just poofin' into my walkin' path is becomin' a bit too much of a thing 'round here."

While her temper might not be the first complaint most people had about her, that she had one, and a bad one at that, was pretty well undeniable.
Since she didn't want to land in the brig, or in jail, again, she would do her best to lash out with words only, but it was not her fault she was this size, and by the Prophets she wasn't going to let people insult her over it.
There was enough that was actually her fault for them to give her a hard time over.

He is, however, going to take a second look at Ro.
"You still suffering from that kid bullshit Q pulled? The docs have a cure now, y'know."

"And I assure you, as irritating as Q can be, my.... condition... is a result of a transporter accident when our shuttle-craft hit a spacial anomaly. I shall be returned to my proper self soon."

Because now he's just confused.

"I am exactly where I was a few minutes ago. In Ten Forward, waiting for my turn to be brought back to my proper age."
She crossed her arms. It helped to combat the urge to punch him.

She gathered her drawings, leaving the crayons behind, and stalked off towards the corridors.

Sorry about her and the short thread. Thank you for RPing with me.
