"For a ship that has all the bells and whistles and every update possible....the security here is terrible," Chekov simply answered, not once looking from his PADD. "I'm not even having to make a real effort here. They're lucky I'm merely browsing."

Oh Chekov, was quite tempted to make changes here or there...not changes that would hurt the ship, but ones that they could have benefited from. Before he allowed himself to do such changes he wanted the actual permission for it. When he did finally look up from the PADD he had a look of boredom mixed with disappointment.

The another thought crossed his mind...."So what does that mean for us? Are you still a Captain here and I'm an Ensign? Or are we civilians?"
