M of the Detective // Can't Be Dissuaded
Philip is so confused. He wanders his way to Ten Forward, rubbing the bruise over his eye. He needs to sit down and think about this for a bit. Figure out why Shotaro was doing and saying the things that he is.
But once he steps into the lounge there's a flash of light and all of a sudden, he isn't Philip anymore.
He's dressed in a somewhat more respectable manner, his hair down without any clips, and he has a confused look on his face. He gingerly touches a hand to his face. Why does his eye hurt so bad?
And why is he in Ten Forward, anyway? He has work to do.
Raito turns on his heel and storms down the corridor. Being trapped on some spaceship in interstellar space isn't going to stop him from his Gaia Memory research. He's sure that with the help of the replicator, he can obtain the materials he needs to continue his work.
[ AU Philip, aka Raito! He's a workaholic mad scientist who, if not kept in check, is probably going to try and turn his fellow Enterprise inhabitants into literal monsters. Oops. More details here for the curious. ]

"There you are. I wanna make one thing clear for while we're stuck here!" He didn't hesitate to grab Raito by his collar and shove him up against the wall.

He blinked in surprise. He'd met this guy before, but where? Oh, right -- he'd unwittingly gotten himself tangled up in one of Museum's schemes. "Ah-- you," he said in vague recognition. "You're that classless, low-life brat Shotaro Hidari. What are you doing here?"

"I'm going to keep it simple. If I see anything in your hand more advanced than a garage door opener I'm going to break it and your stuck-up, arrogant face. Get it?"

And he kneed Shotaro in the groin.

He'll catch up in a minute.

"I wouldn't take another step, if I were you," Raito warned him.

Which was tackle Raito.

On his way up, he used Raito's face as a place to push down with his hand to get up. Sorry not sorry.

Unfortunately, Shotaro got to the Memory first. Raito cried out in dismay and reached to grab it out of his hand. "Give that back, it's mine!"

"Computer, end program!" But it was too late. The laws of physics had done their job. The Memory was lying on the floor, shattered.
He grabbed Shotaro by the collar. "Look what you've done!"

But en route, Fang jumped into his face. "What the hell is this?"

He scooped the pieces of Cyclone up off the floor and stepped back toward the door.

But he saw what Raito was up to and took off after him. If he made these things then he had no doubt he could fix one enough to be useful if he had all the pieces. He reached to grab hold of one of Raito's hands holding the pieces.
