Intro-ish Post (With Options)
This Doctor had been getting settled in on board the Enterprise - well as much as he can. He still baulks at the jabs he had to be given, but since they didn't contain anything that was harmful to him, he allowed for them.
Now, he has an agenda. He knows the TARDIS is somewhere on board and now that he has a map and listings, he's going to go there to find it.
The Doctor is making his way down to the cargo hold, but going about it the long way around. May as well investigate the ship on his way. If he can get to the TARDIS, he won't be staying long anyway, so he might as well explore something new as he goes along.
It's all terribly human. Basic, really. And they think it's the best thing. About the only thing he's really interested in is this Q character. He doesn't mind humans most of the time. He just doesn't like being 'stuck' with them. And there's so much humanity here - with nothing to escape it.
B: TARDIS Cargo hold Plot: Open To All
After his adventure with Trever and his cat, the Doctor finally arrives at the cargo hold that is marked as containing the TARDIS. He sonics his way in (whether or not that was necessary) and looks around. Some of the items look familiar and others seem alien - even to him - which is saying something. It isn't long before he sees the TARDIS, standing there in all her glory. He confidently strides towards her. When he gets there, he gives a loving stroke to her. "Hello, Old Girl. Now, let's see about getting out of here."
The Doctor needed to vent his anger and frustration at not being able to get back to his own universe. So he made his way to the training room. He had told Clara he had cheated against Robin Hood with his archery skills. But that doesn't mean he's positively rubbish at it. He just wasn't sure of his aim at a ship with rotating bits. If he were to be perfectly honest, which he rarely is, he just needs a bit of practice. He was disappointed that he couldn't get into the Armoury, so he would have to make-do with one of the holodecks. Pity. It's never quite as good as the real thing. Now, if only someone else with archery skills were around. Nothing like a little bit of friendly competition when it comes to brushing up on skills.
{{OOC: I'm happy to backtag however long people are interested in playing with these plots.}}

That would be terrible, almost as terrible as liking...pears.
no subject
And pears were terrible, just an odd texture and then the juice gets everywhere.
"No, my tastes are more even this go around. Though, I do like a good drink now and then."
Yup. Now he drinks wine and stronger beverages.
no subject
It wasn't the first incarnation that liked alcohol. His third self enjoyed his wine very much.
"Less expensive taste than the one with the cape?"
no subject
"We were stuck on Earth back then. Options were rather... limited."
But he offers a grin. A grin which quickly falls.
"Not unlike here."
He sighs heavily. He really wishes his Old Girl were here, only not. Because if she were, he would be just as locked out and that would be too much.
no subject
Eleven would, if asked actually share his TARDIS. At least it was the blue interior, not the one that was a little too steampunk or the one before that was a little too grunge. Of course, none of the could get inside the ship, so he doubted it would help as much as he could.
"She does like vistiors, he said, going back to the TARDISes sitting on in the cargo bay."
Maybe that would help, just a tiny bit.
no subject
"Especially us."
He rests a hand on one of her.
"Don't suppose if we concentrated all of our energy on one of her we could gain access? Then we could teleport into the others..."
They probably already thought of that, already tried it. But he's new here, all the ideas are new to him.
no subject
"We haven't tried as far as I know."
no subject
He shakes his head, disappointed in his younger selves.
"River was right. I am hard work young."
Right. Time to explain things properly.
"And what were you doing if you weren't trying to gain access to her? Hmm? Were you enjoying yourself on this ship so much that you couldn't be bothered to try to gain access to the one creature who could save all of us?"
no subject
Bringing everyone back home really took a backseat to making sure everyone was alive first.
no subject
"I see. Well. The tour made it sound like it was all fun and games."
Yup trying to cover it up, but it's hard lying to yourself...
no subject
Eleven was going to let Twelve have that one. He knew how terrible being wrong really was for him.
no subject
He frowns at that. Because he doesn't want to hurt her if at all possible.
"...Or at the very least being here with her."
no subject
But The Grumpy Scottish One was right. Now that there were four of them, they could sit with her in shifts or something.
"I don't like that she's alone down here. I usually visit around this time every day."
no subject
"Really? When has she ever denied us entrance for more than a few hours?"
Never that he can remember. Well, there was after his tenth regeneration, but he did sort of completely destroy her. She needed time to heal.
"I can't imagine she's too thrilled with it either. But she's made a friend, apparently. The car? KITT."
no subject
That was at least half a day, since that's how long it took him to fix it.
"That's something at least. She isn't alone when we're not here."
no subject
Well... that was ages ago for him, he can't be expected to remember every detail.
"Small comfort. But, yes. especially when we've got work to do."
For himself, he'll plan to sleep down here. Most nights. He discovered on the Orient Express that he can't sleep properly without her anyway.
no subject
"I think she'll be okay. She has been so far. Q doesn't seem like he wants to hurt her."
Because if he did, well, that wasn't going to go well for Q.
no subject
"Q doesn't know how much trouble he's already in."
Because this Doctor will take him down. He put Santa in his place, so yes.
no subject
"Quite a bit, and not just from us. I doubt the captain of the ship is happy with him either, since all these extra people keep popping into his lounge."
He was trying to diffuse the temper, just a little.
no subject
"Have you met him? This Captain Picard, I mean."
Based on what he'd learned so far, only the Crew had properly met Q to this point.
no subject
"Sometimes he could be found in the bar, I haven't introduced myself yet."
no subject
"Unfortunate. We'd need him on our side if we were to try anything that might actually get us out of here."
