Mary's Arrival (OTA)
It had been a long but eventful few weeks since Mary had returned to the island. She had been arrested after landing in O’ahu and then released into her brother’s custody, stood beside her brother at their father’s funeral, investigated the contents of the Champ toolbox and had been abducted. Thankfully, she had been kidnapped by the world’s worst abductors ever as they neglected to take her cell phone away from her and she was able to call her brother which led to her rescue. Mary had argued with her brother that she didn’t need medical attention but she promptly lost that argument and after being seen by the doctor, she now sported a bandage on her forehead, a wrapped hand and several scrapes and bruises as a result of her ordeal.
She didn’t want to go back to Los Angeles but her stubborn older brother took a page from their old man’s book and wanted her to go back to the mainland as he feared for her safety. Very reluctantly, Mary packed her bag and allowed Steve to drive her to the airport where they said a heartfelt goodbye and she got on the plane to L.A.
Only when she went to step onto the plane, she wasn’t in the plane anymore. She wasn’t even sure she was even in the airport anymore. She suddenly found herself in what looked like a bar. Mary glanced around her surroundings with confusion written all over her features. What was even more confusing to her was that everyone around her in the room seemed to be calm. Why wasn’t anyone else concerned that they were not on the plane?
“What the hell?” Mary muttered as she continued to look around, hiking her carry on bag higher on her shoulder. She moved towards the door of the bar. She had to figure out where she was and what was going on or a phone so she could call her brother.
