Sleepless nights
There are things that Trever never thought would be a problem in his life. Not ever being in Eire - or to be more exact - to be connected to Eire was one of them. But that he'd been coping with. The second thing he'd never thought would be a problem in his life was the lack of a moon. His body seemed to be insisting on something should be happening, that he should be doing or going somewhere but he didn't know where or why for the life of him.
It's lead to severe bouts of insomnia around when, on his world, it'd be the full moon as his body ticked around to some invisible thing he couldn't turn off.
As such thing a thing has ticked around he can found wandering around the corridors, barefoot and shirtless, cat following him behind, trying to work off the nervous energy, that whatever it was that kept on pulling at him. Whenever he passed by a window he'd stop and stare out of it, looking for something and then sighing and moving on not finding it.

"Oh. Hello!" he said, somewhat startled.

He grinned at her tiredly and watched as Veena strolled over to check her out. "You're Grainne, right?"

And keep files.
They're keeping files on people.
Considering that Veena is from a world of magic she won't smell that strange. She's not evil or anything like that which is something she's more interested in.

She offered a pet to the kitty with a smile. "A beautiful cat. It must be wonderful having someone to share things like that with. You're very lucky. What brings you out tonight?"

Meanwhile, Veena immediately goes over to inspect the guy with her tail up in the air.

Minoru had nothing against cats (his brother signed his summoning contract with the ninja cats), but he still stiffened a little when she approached. He shared his room with the actual Cat, so he probably smelled a little like someone else.
"Something on your mind?"
no subject
"Oh. It's just some insomnia. Happens sometimes," he said with a bit of a smile.

As Minoru had recently discovered, being in space had strange effects. The natural energy that would normally power a lot of his more advanced Sage techniques was seemingly absent on board a starship. So, as he actively tried to figure out why, he might be reading more into this. Or he might not.
"...What are you trying to find?"
no subject
"I'm not trying to find anything but sleep."

Chris orbed beside Trever, wearing only the pants he was sleeping it, hands on his hips. "You know, Whitelighters have to sleep too you know."

As he didn't have a knife, he fell into a relaxed stance that would be good for either flight or fight and glared.

"And there's nothing wrong unless you count a night of insomnia as wrong."
no subject
"This isn't going to go away. Magic happens for a reason. Why don't we start with why you're not in bed. Asleep. Like a normal person. And who the hell is Melkor?"
no subject
Waving a hand he added, "He's a god of the dead in my world. Asshole. Evil. Owns the largest multinational company in the world. Huge Lord of the Rings fan."

Encountering one of the twins wandering the hallways in a state of undress is unexpected enough to accomplish that.
He still can't tell the two men appart by appearance alone, but the presence of the cat is clue enough. "Mr. McCallum," he greets, slowing his strides as he approaches. "Is something the matter?"
no subject
"Oh. Hello. I haven't see you in a while. And no. I'm just being a bit of an insomniac tonight."
He seems pleased to see the Wraith, which is probably rare for the guy.

He gives a low, acknowledging hum. He's well familiar with that kind of restlessness, when sleep just won't come. "Is this a common occurrence?"
no subject
"About once a month or so," Trever said.

But he's not.
"The only cure for this one is to knock me unconscious. Sleep aids don't work on it." Yes. He's completely serious.
