youwillbe: (It's not easy being green)

The streams are now crossed

It would be easy to miss Yoda's presence. He is, after all, only 0.6 meters tall. People have to look down to spot him.

Of course, to anyone who does look down, he's rather unique looking. Small. Green. Wrinkly. And, for some reason, dressed in the sort of sailor suit a toddler might have worn in the 1920s. Zelien had been hard on clothing, and for someone his size, replacements were... ecclectic.

This wasn't the swamp. After the business in Zelien, Yoda was expecting to finally be back in the swamp and spending a few years contemplating everything.

It seemed the Force had other ideas though. Except... something is wrong here. He stumbles slightly as he steps forward. "Quiet here, the Force is."

And without that connection to the Force, he really remembers that he is 881 years old. And that's hard on any body.

From the wrinkles, sparse hair, hunched-over posture and creaky voice, the little being seems ancient. Though that doesn't have to mean much. Age is a very relative thing.

"Indeed," the Wraith replies. "It has been rather uniform here."

"Not only, here. Though many, and more in appearance." Though he knows that in some cases, the similarities are only skin-deep.

At the gesture, he looks the figure over again. Indeed, the clothing does seem ill-fitting. Nothing but humans, he said? That would explain it. Todd has his own experience in being put in ridiculous clothing at the hands of humans. "What was the other place?" He's not going to ask where. That would be pointless.

Perhaps it jumping to conclusions, but since the small figure mentions Earth, the wraith assumes that it was humans behind these experiments spoken of. There's a low, rumbling growl before he speaks again. "My own kin has been subjected to experiments at the hands of humans as well I." Not that his own people are any better in that regard, but that is not the current topic of conversation.
