There was a lot of history to catch up with, so much had changed since the post war era. If this was a world in which she would be living it behooved her to know the history of it. Earth history was rather thoroughly documented in the records on board Enterprise. However there was no mention of Steve or the SSR or anything. Not even a whisper about Howard, though there was another genius inventor name Howard Hughes. He sounded like Stark only less flamboyant. And he met a rather bad end it seemed. So where was all the history of her world?
While she was perusing the archives it was suggested to her that she might always want to check the Holodeck for additional resources, she made a note to try that after and settled in to a volume on something called The McCarthy era.
