Cridhe sees the shock and perhaps panic. That is not what she meant to cause. She kneels near Kira. Close enough to offer comfort, far enough away, that the creature can run away if she wants to.

She starts again, quietly. "You're used to being on a planet and looking up at the stars. Well, this ship we're on..." She gestures around them. "... It is sailing among the stars."
