OTA: Pacifica (backdated to the 13th)
Amy Pond's blind dating callouts have reminded Simon of the date, which is a good thing, since it also happens to be a significant anniversary for him and a significant day for Kaylee. Which means that he needs to find a present for her. Of course, most of these touristy places on planets tend not to have anything really worth buying; he'd learned that a long time ago, with that memorable lesson on Jiangyin, and he's never seen particularly much to dissuade him of that opinion.
He has learned, though, that Kaylee does like some things that he wouldn't, necessarily. So, he'd gone down to Pacifica to go shopping, and for the first part of the day, he can be found browsing the stalls in a market, considering things, rejecting things, and growing increasingly convinced that he won't find her a present.
For some reason, though, the large fake flowers that almost look real draw his attention. Normally, he'd dismiss them as tacky, but today, for some reason, he's admiring them.
Later on, he can be found sitting on a beach, still fully and rather formally dressed, reading from a PADD.
The one concession Simon's made to his surroundings is to remove his socks and shoes so he can wiggle his toes in the sand.
