What's wrong with me? Backdated to Mar 2nd (closed to Dr Crusher)
Forty-eight hours passed since he suddenly changed form. First, he was freaked out by how his goatee suddenly grabbed the PADD he'd been browsing. And if that wasn't bad enough, when he went to a mirror to check what the hell was going on with his facial hair, his entire body turned into water. Derek remained in his room the entire time in an effort to understand what was happening.
Showing up on the Enterprise seemed like a dream at first. It wasn't something agreed to the way Eudio was, and there was no immediate danger. The dream had now turned into a nightmare. Nothing Derek researched gave him any answers. He didn't reach out to his roommate but headed straight to the sick bay in hope of a remedy in addition to an explanation.
He came through the automatic doors with urgency. Derek Morgan didn't easily scare or worry but neither had he suddenly lost control the way this had come upon him. There were few things that he reacted poorly to almost instantly and that was not having control. "What the hell his happening to me?!" her blurted out upon entering the room.

Derek didn't mean to run over her introduction. He'd heard the name in the short time. She wasn't familiar Star Trek wise but there was something familiar about her. It took just a second longer before he chalked it up to Dr Crusher reminding him of his mother; soft where she needed to be and firm where she needed to be.
"Sorry for coming in here and raising hell," he uttered and turned into liquid at the confession. It almost seemed whenever he had a jump in emotions, Derek changed forms. He rolled his eyes and closed them in an effort to change back. "A week? Here's to hoping I've only got a few days left then."

"It's all right," she assures him, her smile small but genuine and honest. When he turns to liquid, she gives him another scan just to be sure nothing lethal has changed. "Believe me, we've had worse in here. You didn't manage to blow anything up or offend my staff, so I'd say you're doing pretty well in the long run."
No, seriously. They have had so much worse than a panicky person who turns to liquid. For one thing, they've had Q.
"If you'd like to stay here until you reform, you can hang out in the back or in my office."
