Ten Forward Lounge : Halloween Shenangians
Gaila squeaks.
She tries not to do that. People have a tendency to think it is adorable, and while that can be all kinds of fun in the right circumstances, she tries to aim for more professional as a general trait.
But, no. She squeaks. She squeaks, and spills her hot chocolate (laced with enough cayenne pepper to turn it pinkish) over her hand.
Then again, given her clothes have suddenly morphed in this, she has good reason.
If nothing else, she's now over six foot thanks to those heels. And there is a tiara. And...a whip?
"Um?"

Which she is going to drink now that her burst of words has finished for the moment.
"This ship," Gaila says after a moment, "is damn strange."

This calls for more hot chocolate.
"Hi, sorry, I'm Gaila."

Yuna flipped through her pouch for a moment before looking back up at Gaila. "I don't know if I have a jacket or anything..."

Yuna closed one eyes while looking at Gaila. The best she had on her was a moogle suit.

"I'll live with it. At least I have kickass boots."
They match her hair.

Even if most people don't put quite enough pepper in it.

Yuna smiled before taking a seat. "What kind of strange things happen here?"
no subject
"You mean beside a bunch of us turning up randomly from all kinds of times and places and dimensions?"
Not that she's objecting to turning up! Particularly as in her case the choice was 'turn up' or 'explode with rest of her ship'

Sure, 'he's' dressed... well, not so much like an Indian, but like Sam suspects the average British person might guess an Indian would look. Its annoying, but not worth having a fit over.
"Well. That's quite an outfit."

She is not exactly adverse to showing off her legs, nor heels. But she was getting to like the tunic she'd been wearing.
There's a pause, and the Orion woman tilts her head a little.
"Soooo, am I gonna be breaking any social niceties in asking if the....whatever it was got you, too?"
no subject
"Yup. Still don't look quite as breezy as that, but this ain't exactly my day wear."
no subject
The sad thing is, the speed of her words isn't even anything to do with nerves about suddenly standing in an outfit that only just covers her backside; it's normal.
"The headdress does look kinda heavy, though."
no subject
A pause. "You warm enough in that get up?"
no subject
"I...have my hot chocolate? That should keep me warm for a bit. And hopefully I'll get my clothes back before I have to start doing laps around the ship, because that could be annoying in this bustier."
The outfit feels like it has support, but she's not sure how much she wants to test it out just yet.
"Mind if I take a seat, though?"
no subject
"Be my guest. Whiskey might work better, though."
no subject
"Thanks," she says, pulling it on. There. That's a bit better.
She picks up her mug again and walks over to his table, quickly plonking herself down on a chair.
Better still.
"And oooooh. Spiking my drink is starting to sound good."
Up close, she doesn't smell human. Instead there is the faint scent of something leafy.
no subject
"Is it true that its next to impossible to get a real drink around here?"
no subject
"Yeah-huh. If you want something that'll actually get you drunk, you're gonna have to go planetside and really hope they don't use replicators, too."
no subject
"I'll have to remember to stock up. Why'd they do that?"
no subject
"Federation is weird," she says, tone fond. "I suppose some health concerns, not to mention health and safety issues. I mean, if everyone is cooped up for months on edge, people get bored. I asked, but people just kinda looked at me like it was obvious."
