After Alemar III, Philip is understandably a little apprehensive about another shore leave. But reading the information on Risa in the Enterprise's database helps to ease that. To think that there's an entire planet just for vacations! He'd never imagined such a thing before.

So once he's down there, he's going to try just about everything there is to do. Hiking; visiting those underground gardens with the glowing plants; sunbathing; and of course, eating. Alien food is so wonderful, after all.

Aside from Shotaro, he doesn't make much of an effort to stick close to anybody else from the Enterprise. He's just too giddy about trying all these new things. But if he should happen to run into anyone he recognizes, you can bet he's going to greet them.

"Eh? No way! That's too shiny! You're insane!" It had taken ages for him to finally get used to not being in the same city his entire life, and the gnawing feeling of homesickness had mostly faded, thanks to having Philip back.

Sure all this had only started mere days after his return in the first place. But even with the new circumstance, nothing had really changed. Same partners, new territory to protect.

Philip held it up in front of himself to gauge it against Shotaro's form. He nodded. "Yes, I'm sure it would suit you." And he set to looking about for some sort of hat to go with it.

After having spent so long by Shotaro's side again, it was easy to forget that they'd ever been apart.

[tanteiotaku]

"No way! Get rid of that thing!" He went after Philip and reached to grab him to keep him from collecting what was sure to be something terrible.

[decideformyself]

"Ooh!" Philip dodged Shotaro's grab in favor of ducking behind a rack and picking out a pair of colorful pants. Philip needed these.

[tanteiotaku]

"You slippery little--" Nope, he wasn't going to give up on the chase yet. Philip could look as ridiculous as he liked, Shotaro wasn't going to be a part of it.

Philip dodged away from Shotaro again, but then had to stop himself so he wouldn't run into a rack of clothing and knock it over. Dead end.

[tanteiotaku]

Taking the opportunity, he captured Philip's neck in a snug chokehold and vigorously mussed up his hair. "Gotcha now!"

[decideformyself]

"Ack!" Philip squirmed. He reached up to grab a ridiculous hat and plop it down on Shotaro's head.

[tanteiotaku]

Okay that did the trick. He was offended enough to release Philip and catch a look at himself in a mirror. What he had on his head was some unholy union between a chef's hat and a newsboy. And it was as shiny as anything else the people on this planet wore. Gross. "What the hell!?" he shouted.

Philip took a few steps back. When he got a good look at Shotaro, he cracked up. "It suits you, partner!"

[tanteiotaku]

"No way! This isn't hard boiled at all!" He pointed at his own head. Somehow he wasn't offended enough to actually take it off, though.

[decideformyself]

"Exactly." That sure was a shit-eating grin on his face right now.

[tanteiotaku]

"Hey don't look at me like that! You're planning something, aren't you?" His partner could be downright scary when he wanted to be.

[decideformyself]

"I have no idea what you're talking about," he replied mischievously. His eyes wandered in search of something else to add to Shotaro.

[tanteiotaku]

"Oi! You're a terrible liar, you know!" He tried to follow Philip's line of sight to get an idea of what he was planning.

[decideformyself]

He tossed the tunic over Shotaro's face and made a break for it.

[tanteiotaku]

"Hey!" And he was after him, but he lost him in the racks. "Hey! Philip! Where did you go?"

[decideformyself]

Philip had ducked behind another rack to examine the jewelry there. Try and find him~

[tanteiotaku]

"Come on, Philip, this is a big weird planet to get separated on." He peeked around a blind corner and finally found him.

"What are you doing back here?" He had a feeling he wasn't going to like the answer.

[decideformyself]

And he lunged, aiming to drape a gaudy necklace around Shotaro's neck.

[tanteiotaku]

"Hey!" he flailed again, but alas, the necklace was in place.

"Ah, dammit!" he grabbed the nearest thing to-hand, which was some manner of floral cape and tossed it over Philip's head.

Philip shouted in surprise and yanked the cape off of himself. But then he got a good look at it and tilted his head curiously. "Hm..." Yes, this would do...
