Emma looked around, nerves suddenly on edge. She had been about to walk into a study with Henry and Regina, and suddenly she finds herself someplace strange and new, and unlike anything she had ever seen.

And that is saying something, considering who she is, and where she comes from.

"Seriously?" She said, out loud to no one in particular.

She walked down the winding hallway, and when she paused,a door opened with a swish, and revealed a bar. It was a type of bar that Emma had never seen before.

"Where am I now?"

"No. I'm not. Your son is Henry Mills. A boy who was raised by Regina and ran away to you so you could break the curse. That's not me."

Explaining who he was would just confuse her but since he'd been home and come back, he decided he'd best give her the option. "I can try and explain it if you like but it's probably easier coming from Gold. He understands it better."

Emma just sat there and stared at Henry for a long time. She had kind of heard of something like this, but never imagined she would be living it. Did she get sucked into some sort of vortex or something.

"Gold.... I think I would rather here it from you?"

Henry sighed, he figured that might happen.

"Fine. But it's not my fault if it doesn't make any sense."

Wishing he had his book and notes here and debating on getting them, he decided against it, Henry pondered how to start this explanation.

"Well, my full name is Henry Gold. Apparently when getting me for Regina, something happened and Dad remembered being Rumplestiltskin and took me in himself. Other stuff happened and then I turned up here. Now the Gold that's on the ship doesn't remembering being my dad, only my grandpa, and he thinks his Henry is also Henry Mills. Which was why I asked you what you thought my name was. Because that seems to be the deciding factor in each timeline. Which adoptive parent I had."

Emma stared at Henry for a long time. He looked like her Henry, but he definitely didn't sound like Henry.

"Henry Gold?" Emma repeated. It wasn't like she was slow on the uptake, far from it, but this was a lot of information to wrap her head around, especially with the fact that her Gold, had just ripped Hook's heart out.

"And you lived in Rumplestilkin's world? with his influence?"

"What? No! I lived in Storybrooke. Everything else was the same. My mom is still Emma Swan. She still had a curse to break. I just had a different parent. A better one in my opinion. Can't believe I was almost raised by Regina."

"In your opinion Henry," She said quietly. "In my world he doesn't care about people or their feelings at all. He uses them for his own gain."

Emma paused. "Not that Regina was much better mind you."

"I met that Gold. He seemed nice enough once I got over the grandfather issue." But he did see her point. His father would never lock him up in a holodeck program until he cried.

"He can be yes," Emma said. "But then he can also kill people and not give it a second thought."

"Your father... what's he like?"

Henry shrugged. "He's my dad." He didn't know how to explain and certainly didn't want to make him sound bad. But he didn't want to lie either. "I think...I think they're very similar but circumstances have changed them. I stopped Dad going after Moe French that night. He kissed me to break the sleeping curse when my mom wouldn't do it. He's always there, reassuring me that he loves me when I doubt myself." Or him. "And he saved me from his father because the unpleasantness of losing me was worse than going up against Pan again."

Emma feel silent, because she couldn't imagine not kissing Henry. She remembers the feeling she had as she watched him die, and it almost killed her just to think about.

"Why wouldn't your mother kiss you? Because I did."

Henry shrugged again. That part was all second hand knowledge. "She didn't believe it would work. So Dad did it. Then she kissed Dad to thank him for saving me and that's when she broke the curse on the town."
