Hyun-ae was quite lost. This architecture was all wrong, the database structures were weird and winding, and she couldn't get anywhere near the diagnostics, engineering, or navigation systems without running up against security problems. What she didn't realize was she was setting off all kinds of alarm bells every time she ran up against a security authorization she couldn't brute-force.

But finally, she found it! A place she could communicate from! She appeared without warning on the large viewscreen at the front of the bridge, in a hanbok consisting of a blue jacket with slightly darker blue flowers, and a bright pink skirt. A white text box appeared next to her, and she appeared slightly nervous. "Er, Miss Investigator?" she said, in the form of text on the screen. Unfortunately, it appeared in Korean.

Oh no, this wasn't the White Princess at all. There were a lot of people here. Mostly men. But the women were in pants, that was promising. "Hi there! My name is *Hyun-ae. I am a database management AI from the White Princess! Er... Where am I? I am being blocked from all navigation protocols, this is very unusual..." Still her messages appeared only in Korean.

After that was cleared up, she began to explore the ship as best she could, through the databases and through the various terminals across the ship. "Oh, hello! Sorry for interrupting, I've gotten quite lost! My name is *Hyun-ae. It's a pleasure to meet you!"

Marika blinks.
Twice.

(Not the local navigational conventions she was reviewing. Not any more, at least.)

"I'm Marika. Marika Kato. May I ask where you're calling from?"

"Not unless you now how to get me back to my own time and universe," says Marika a little sadly, "I'm pretty sure I can work out the rest on my own. Eventually."

John's ears perk up. An AI isn't something he's come across. As a military man, he's been taught that the potential use for AI in battle ranges from wrong to very, very bad. Still this one seems friendly enough. After catching her greetings twice in various corridors, he stops and talks back at her third attempt.

"Hi there," he says cheerfully enough. "Sorry, about that, you're the first Ai who's ever said hi to me."

“It’s what humans say, so there is no reason for you not to say hi.” John leans back against the wall, making himself comfortable. “I’m Lieutenant Colonel John Sheppard, but you can just call me John, there is no need to stand on ceremony. Did you name yourself, or did someone else name you?”

"My name is Bruce Banner." Bruce peered at the screen of his tablet in the guest quarters he was sitting in. How very odd. "Are you a physical person, or an AI?"

Tony was close to it, as was Bruce, and Ael, and others. But he hadn't seen anyone finish it, not yet.

"Intriguing." Bruce already had his scanner out and was scanning the computer he had been using to check his engine and control module systems model plans on. Her image was crystal clear, and he found himself nodding at it's clarity.

"You have an elegant design." He nodded absently as she spoke, eyes on his scans. "I've met no other AI's here. Just sophisticated sub-sentient computer arrays."

No worries!

"I have been as well, and quite a few others. We've been brought, a lot of us, from other universes." Bruce grimaced. "Which might explain why there is no record of your ships."

he waved a hand at the crowd around them.

"Welcome to the 24th century."

"Well, welcome to the past, then." Bruce chuckled. "What year are you form in your world?" He was curious about what culture created her, and how.

maybe he could work with her.

"The fiftieth century? Amazing! It sounds like you had a few adventures. I hope you wont be taken from those you care about for long." he didn't like to see anyone torn from home.

"Hmmm. Well, every universe is different. So hopefully this one is a good one." Bruce smiled.

He eyed her and nodded. Do you know much about science?" He wasn't going to assume just because she was in a computer that she was a nerd.

Yuna almost jumped out of her skin at the sound of a voice echoing from the ship. She was very bad with machines and even more so since appearing on this ship. She walked over to the screen looking at it curiously.

"Um, Hello. I'm Yuna..you're?" Her voice trailed off trying to pin point the exact word that was coming to mind.

"Kidnapped? Did you wake up here too then?" But she was on a screen.

Yuna stared trying to make it make sense in her head.
whereishe: (nevermind)

"I hate to ask this but what is an AI?" She didn't want to ask a question without understanding the girls situation but maybe if she knew more she could help better. She had woken up here with out any clue to how she got here maybe this girl had woken up the same way, only in the computer.

Yuna was trying to make sense of it, being trapped in a computer didn't sound like fun. "I'm sorry.. I mean people just appear here sometimes."

"I got it."

Yuna sort of got it. She smiled looked at the girl on the screen. "Im sorry I didn't understand before. There isn't anything like AI in my world."

She paused for a moment. "You said you were kidnapped? Maybe what happened to me happened to you? I had just woken up here one day."

"I see. I wish I could help more but I don't think I can." Which was awkward for Yuna. She liked helping and took great pride in doing what she could for people but in this situation she was at a loose.

She only vaguely understood that someone could be integrated into something like a computer and even that was a little fuzzy. For the moment she knew that the girl was there only talking to her on the screen.
