The streams are now crossed
It would be easy to miss Yoda's presence. He is, after all, only 0.6 meters tall. People have to look down to spot him.
Of course, to anyone who does look down, he's rather unique looking. Small. Green. Wrinkly. And, for some reason, dressed in the sort of sailor suit a toddler might have worn in the 1920s. Zelien had been hard on clothing, and for someone his size, replacements were... ecclectic.
This wasn't the swamp. After the business in Zelien, Yoda was expecting to finally be back in the swamp and spending a few years contemplating everything.
It seemed the Force had other ideas though. Except... something is wrong here. He stumbles slightly as he steps forward. "Quiet here, the Force is."
And without that connection to the Force, he really remembers that he is 881 years old. And that's hard on any body.

They'd only met the once that she can remember, but he's a very distinct person. "Hello there. I didn't think I'd see you here." The only question is whether or not he will know her.
no subject
It doesn't occur to him that she wouldn't recognize him. He just hasn't learned enough yet.

"A nice change it will be, to speak with the natives." After Zelien. Of course.

"There was a timeline divergence here about a year or so ago, making this reality different from my own. The basics are still the same." So she knows enough to manage and help someone else manage as well. "The short of it is that we've apparently been brought here by a being called Q. I'm not sure what his purpose is other than to play games with the Enterprise again, but none of us are supposed to be here."
That includes Beverly herself. For the observant people like Yoda, as other Starfleet personnel pass by, it will become increasingly obvious that for a "native" person, she's not even wearing the right uniform.

He wasn't a trained ninja for nothing, though. He missed him - with a hop, flip and another jump back to his feet. He might have been in his early forties, but he moved like he was still in his teens. He had a seal on his chest that absorbed natural energy from the world around him, on top of a large chakra pool. It was a lot like the force, from a different universe's point of view.
"Woah! Sorry! I didn't see you! Actually, I don't think I've ever seen you." He dropped onto the ground with a big grin. "Pleased to meet you! I'm Minoru!"

He steadies himself with the cane before continuing. "Yoda, I am called. Unsure how I came to be here am I."
no subject
"Just about everyone that isn't from here just kind of appeared here." he tried to explain. "They say someone named Q is behind it and that they're trying to send people back."
Minoru always assumed he'd come here via a portal from Ryuuchi Cave, since the last thing he remembered before finding himself on this spaceship was jumping into one. But it was entirely possible Q grabbed him on the way. He traveled between dimensions on a regular basis, staying for whatever length of time he wanted to, and then wandered on. So that part, anyway, was par for the course.
"I'm not too worried about it. The people are friendly, even if there's a lot I don't understand."

He glances around. "Very clean this is."

But the strange green creature doesn't bother Kale too much as the first thing that pops into his head, "Oh. A goblin!"
no subject
no subject
Kale would be more than happy to explain what a goblin is - at least in his world - that makes him think that Yoda's one.

"What are you?"

What, old bugger, got a stick up your butt?
"What's with the little sailor outfit? Are you a gremlin?"
no subject
"A gremlin I am not." He tugs at the collar of the sailor suit. "Hard to come by in the last place, clothing was."

It wasn't until someone else murmured something that Padmé's attention turned. Of course the moment she saw him she knew who he was, and while he had always looked aged, Padmé would almost say that he had aged even further. What did throw her was his attire. It was like nothing that Padmé had ever seen the Jedi in before.
Brows slightly furrowed, Padmé did approach him. "Master Yoda?"
no subject
And yet, it always seems strange. And Padme, of course, had been so caught up in everything as it went so horribly wrong. If only things had been different.
The smile he gives her is tired, but a smile all the same. "Senator Amidala. Unexpected this is."

Yet it was another familiar face, for better or for worse. It seemed that this Q had started to take a liking to their galaxy as their numbers continued to grow. Her own features did soften, but all the experiences and issues she had gone through had left its own mark on her. "Very. ... have you just arrived?"
no subject
"And now, here I am." How much did she know? He searched the Force, struggling to make out anything.

The Wraith known as Todd - a moniker that holds no meaning to him, but that he puts up with for the sake of simplicity - is there when this small figure makes his arrival. It isn't the unusual appearance that makes the Wraith halt, however; it is those few words. They strike a chord, as ever since arriving more than a year ago, he's been experiencing an unsettling quiet of his own. It is not the same thing, of that he's sure, but it's enough to make him pause, looking down at the odd little figure there, head tilted slightly to the side. Curious.

There hadn't been many in Zelien or on the Charon. Well, other than the Great Old Ones, and the less said of them the better.
no subject
"Indeed," the Wraith replies. "It has been rather uniform here."
no subject
He gestures at his clothing. "Nothing but humans, the last place was."
