It didn't take an astute observer to realize she wasn't just beating the odds of probability, she was calling them correctly before they landed. Time, after time, after time. The coin she was flipping might look familiar to any Andromeda crew still on board. Dylan had given it to her, back when she was purple. And still had a tail. It was a fun game she played. Messing with the right influence at the right time. Only this time it was with a coin and not people. That way Dylan wouldn't get mad at her.
He didn't understand. How could he, he was organic, mortal, trapped within his own limited perceptions and understanding. Still, that was part of the reason she needed him. He wasn't just any ordinary mortal. She needed him. All the possibilities, all the best possibilities, circled around him. She just had to get him to understand her methods were necessary. He needed to trust her.

Trance flipped the coin onto the back of her hand, the motion practiced and almost boring.

"You passed a coin through a rift in universes?"

"I beg your pardon, my manners are terrible at the moment. I'm Rosalind Lutece." She sketched a formal but quick curtsey.

"Trance Gemini. You could easily get together with the other scientists here. There's plenty in this universe to keep you busy." The universe was full of surprises, this one was not lacking in possibilities. Even she couldn't get bored here.

The very last thing Rosalind could stand was being a bother to her fellow scientists. They would laugh at her and worse they might patronize her. No, it was best to be well educated before pursuing that course.

Trance thought of an example. "The way this ship travels, using their warp technology, is impossible in my native universe."

Trance smiled, explaining. "Early Vedran physicists believe it has something to do with the presence of an organic observer and collapsing probability waves."
As the Avatar of the Tarn Vedra sun, Trance had a unique perspective of slip stream and the quantum connections there in, like any other Celestial Avatar. Slipstream was, after all, a place where quantum connections became tangible, like the connection between stars and planets.
(OOC: Andromeda's slipstream info if you want it.)

She sighed and shook her head. "I am too far behind. Damn that insufferable wretch Q for taking me away from everything."
(ooc: ha ha so I'm not dropping Ros, do you mind continuing? It's okay if you don't wanna.)
