Happy Birthday to me!

It's Henry's twelfth birthday today which makes him exceptionally happy. Over the past few days he's been handing out invitations to his party on the holodeck and he's currently sitting in the program hoping people actually turn up!

It's Granny's diner in Storybrooke but he's used to technology to make it larger. There's a bit of a dance floor in the middle, more tables and a lot of food. So far, the only person he knows is coming is his father. And if no one else comes, then Henry will content himself with the knowledge that a few months ago, he didn't even have that.

Yuna came happy to see the young boy celebrating such a day. She had wanted to get him something but she didn't know what to get a young boy. Most boys she knew played with swords and she wasn't sure his father would like her getting him a magical sword. With a heavy sigh she shows up empty handed.

She mostly stood to the side watching those talking to each other and laughing. She hadn't been to a birthday party before arriving on this ship and now she had been to two. There was a smile across her lips as she watched from a stool sipping on a drink.

Yuna was one of those strange special cases where Henry had seen her around and spoken not at length but often so he felt comfortable in her presence. Hence the invite. After a short while of noticing her on the side lines, he walked up to her.

"Hey wallflower. How's the view?"

Yuna almost jumped as Henry came over and spoke to her. She hadn't been paying close attention to anything in particular which left her zoning out against the wall. She laughed softly looking down at the birthday boy.

"It's pretty great." Her head tilted to the side with a slight smile spread across her lips. "I'm not used to birthdays. Though I've been to a few here. Are you having a good time?"

She wondered again if she should have gotten him something but he seemed happy enough to have everyone gathered together.

"Not used to birthdays? Do they not happen where you come from?" He sounded so incredulous. Birthdays were great. You got presents and everything! But he did know his dad was the best dad ever so perhaps everyone else's lives hadn't been as great.

Minus the curse thing.

"Nope. I went to one a few weeks ago but we didn't celebrate them in my world. I suppose there just wasn't time to stop." She smiled even though her sentience sounded sad, Yuna didn't look to bothered about it.

"Maybe you can tell me more about them?"
