Intro-ish Post (With Options)
This Doctor had been getting settled in on board the Enterprise - well as much as he can. He still baulks at the jabs he had to be given, but since they didn't contain anything that was harmful to him, he allowed for them.
Now, he has an agenda. He knows the TARDIS is somewhere on board and now that he has a map and listings, he's going to go there to find it.
The Doctor is making his way down to the cargo hold, but going about it the long way around. May as well investigate the ship on his way. If he can get to the TARDIS, he won't be staying long anyway, so he might as well explore something new as he goes along.
It's all terribly human. Basic, really. And they think it's the best thing. About the only thing he's really interested in is this Q character. He doesn't mind humans most of the time. He just doesn't like being 'stuck' with them. And there's so much humanity here - with nothing to escape it.
B: TARDIS Cargo hold Plot: Open To All
After his adventure with Trever and his cat, the Doctor finally arrives at the cargo hold that is marked as containing the TARDIS. He sonics his way in (whether or not that was necessary) and looks around. Some of the items look familiar and others seem alien - even to him - which is saying something. It isn't long before he sees the TARDIS, standing there in all her glory. He confidently strides towards her. When he gets there, he gives a loving stroke to her. "Hello, Old Girl. Now, let's see about getting out of here."
The Doctor needed to vent his anger and frustration at not being able to get back to his own universe. So he made his way to the training room. He had told Clara he had cheated against Robin Hood with his archery skills. But that doesn't mean he's positively rubbish at it. He just wasn't sure of his aim at a ship with rotating bits. If he were to be perfectly honest, which he rarely is, he just needs a bit of practice. He was disappointed that he couldn't get into the Armoury, so he would have to make-do with one of the holodecks. Pity. It's never quite as good as the real thing. Now, if only someone else with archery skills were around. Nothing like a little bit of friendly competition when it comes to brushing up on skills.
{{OOC: I'm happy to backtag however long people are interested in playing with these plots.}}

OMG the Audios are brilliant! XD I have so many of them to get through :|
And his expression darkens when Eleven gives Q the benefit of the doubt.
"Really? Was I always so blind to things when I was you? I mean, you do understand that he's the 'bad guy', right?"
They are...I've been kind of jumping around from series to series.
There was a reason he was so proud that the TARDIS was his and that was one of them.
"And we've been the 'bad guy' too. Haven't we?"
So for the moment, even though Q was snatching people from their lives he was going to give him the benefit of the doubt. At least until Q does something that makes that change.
Me too, but I've decided to work on Main Range right now. 13 days worth.
He shudders a bit at the memory of Anti-time and Zagreus. He hides his face in his hand. And yes, he got a bit angry when he didn't find Gallifrey. They talked about it. Well, he talked. He assumed she listened. And then he thought about Clara betraying both of them by thinking she was throwing his keys into the volcano... Sure he was acting, but the question had been raised. And there was only one answer.
"I don't know what to do without her."
I'm doing the Gallifrey Ones. But most of them are on CD. So I keep having to wait
"We're not without her," he said, trying to be as comforting as he could. Being without the TARDIS was a scary prospect for him too. She was the only one who was around through all the centuries, the only one that kept him company. "I'm sure she wouldn't mind another visitor."
Gallifrey Series is Splended. Also sent a PM
"And yet we are. No access to her, so we're without her."
no subject
"You can't still hear her?" That's what he thought of it as. Hearing her. "She knows we're here I'm sure, and she doesn't take us where we don't need to be."
So following that logic, the ship would also know what would happen to her if they wound up here.
no subject
But that he could live with. It's the not being inside of her that is troublesome. She needs constant maintenance. And he hates the idea of her being lonely. Not that he can admit such sentiment even to himself.
no subject
"Maybe we'll be able to get inside soon...just to check up on things."
no subject
He doesn't sound confident that will happen.
"I should..."
He tapers off. Because 'go' doesn't seem right when they have no here to go. Which makes him wonder.
"What do you do around here? To keep the feeling of being trapped at bay?"
no subject
Other than that, he'd mostly been keeping to himself and visiting with his friends from the past.
no subject
Oh well, something else to mull over in regards to Q.
no subject
"The ship docks, explores space, new people pop in and out all the time, but other than that...hasn't been much."
no subject
"That sounds... mundane."
And he's disappointed.
"So basically, we hang out and try to not get into trouble while doing things that we can get into trouble doing."
He pulls out his sonic.
"Found anything fun to do with these?"
no subject
Which was very much not someplace he was supposed to be. But that's what happened when there was a Doctor on board.
"I can't get the food replicators to make fish custard...yet."
no subject
"I've grown out of that and please don't mention it ever again."
no subject
That would be terrible, almost as terrible as liking...pears.
no subject
And pears were terrible, just an odd texture and then the juice gets everywhere.
"No, my tastes are more even this go around. Though, I do like a good drink now and then."
Yup. Now he drinks wine and stronger beverages.
no subject
It wasn't the first incarnation that liked alcohol. His third self enjoyed his wine very much.
"Less expensive taste than the one with the cape?"
no subject
"We were stuck on Earth back then. Options were rather... limited."
But he offers a grin. A grin which quickly falls.
"Not unlike here."
He sighs heavily. He really wishes his Old Girl were here, only not. Because if she were, he would be just as locked out and that would be too much.
no subject
Eleven would, if asked actually share his TARDIS. At least it was the blue interior, not the one that was a little too steampunk or the one before that was a little too grunge. Of course, none of the could get inside the ship, so he doubted it would help as much as he could.
"She does like vistiors, he said, going back to the TARDISes sitting on in the cargo bay."
Maybe that would help, just a tiny bit.
no subject
"Especially us."
He rests a hand on one of her.
"Don't suppose if we concentrated all of our energy on one of her we could gain access? Then we could teleport into the others..."
They probably already thought of that, already tried it. But he's new here, all the ideas are new to him.
no subject
"We haven't tried as far as I know."
no subject
He shakes his head, disappointed in his younger selves.
"River was right. I am hard work young."
Right. Time to explain things properly.
"And what were you doing if you weren't trying to gain access to her? Hmm? Were you enjoying yourself on this ship so much that you couldn't be bothered to try to gain access to the one creature who could save all of us?"
no subject
Bringing everyone back home really took a backseat to making sure everyone was alive first.
no subject
"I see. Well. The tour made it sound like it was all fun and games."
Yup trying to cover it up, but it's hard lying to yourself...
