Team #8: Monster Mash
The little earthquakes were putting Adam on edge. It didn't have anything to do with his life as a Ranger and all to do with having lived in California for so long. But he also hadn't wanted to spoil anyone's fun, especially when they were told repeatedly that the quakes were normal. He stuck close to Billy regardless, trying to keep calm even as they seemingly got worse, but not enough to actually cause any alarm.
That is, until the world seemed to shake.
"Take cover!" He shouted, instinctively going to grab Billy's arm to yank him away from the wall of geodes. He wasn't sure where they could take cover to, but being near a wall of sharp crystals and a rather large one nearby was hardly the safest. He managed to find a spot that wasn't too dangerous and provided enough cover for him and his friend, covering his head and waiting for it to stop.
Once it did, he brushed the bits of rock away, ignoring the stinging sensation from the few that managed to catch him on the way to cover. "Everyone alright?"
[OOC: Everyone please add your tags accordingly, I actually don't remember everyone and I'm on limited time due to being on lunch break at work so I can't go searching for the post right now, sorry >_<]

Adam's sudden tug snapped Billy to action, and then he was there, huddling with his friend at a seemingly stable point. He continued to swivel his head back and forth when the dust cleared, though he was still dazed enough to lean close.
"I'm nominal," Billy said shakily, cautiously peering around their new enclosure as the dust settled. "But we'e got to get everyone out."
Easier said than done, unfortunately, as he spied sealed caverns all around him---though there was movement. He crouched slightly, creeping his way over to what was probably someone else. "Hello?"

Because the walls and the ceiling are falling all around them, and one them slams hard into her shoulder before it stops.
Before it's all darkness and flickering back-up lights, throwing a pale glow through the clouds of dust gone up everywhere, making her couch, even as voice were starting. Voice nearby and shouts that could be heard through the walls around them, too. When her ears were still ringing, even as she was trying to locate the ones in here that aren't familiar to her.
"Still in one piece over here," comes with a cough as she's breathing in the dust and debris cloud to answer.

A cave is the last place to be in an earthquake, and having already survived one cave in, he has no wish to face a second. Still, the universe carries the same lethal intent it always has, and the fears they should have listened to are fulfilled. Ducking down onto his haunches at the first sound of rocks shaking loose, Tyr wraps heavy arms over his neck and head, peering warily around him.
It's luck more than anything that carries him through with minimal impacts. He'll have bruises later, maybe a scrape, but once the rocks settle and he's cautiously standing again, he's already in a better position that he was the last time.
"Get ourselves out, at the least," he quips, his eyes turning to the surroundings. Engineered to be able to function on minimal oxygen as he is, Tyr has the luxury of breathing without coughing. For all his focus on survival, however, his attention turns to anyone not on their feet, and he'll offer a hand up if it's needed.

"Follow the light? Or..."
There's a rather loud sound echoing from one of the tunnels, though he's not sure what or where. He flinches instinctively.

It was the best they could do, although he wondered just how much caved in. Would they run out of oxygen? He certainly hoped not! He jumped at the loud sound as well, staying close to Billy. Was there going to be another cave in or was something else with them?

"Anyone break anything?" She doesn't look, and her voice is hard. But it's important data to know. Before.

At the sound of something that was certainly not aire, hower. Tyr's quick to mirror Aeryn, his gun raising with an immediate, quick hum that is no doubt some sort of energy charging. His aim doesn't waver initially, even as sharp eyes search the darkness, attempting to see past the meager light and still roiling dust.
"No lasting damage," he responded evenly. "It seems we have company, however."

Because two teenagers suddenly disappearing in a party of four only to be replaced by rangers wasn't weird at all. Except it totally as.

"I say we wait a bit. Fight as ourselves until we know the risk...like Zordon's rules, remember? If and when there's a big distraction, we'll slip away."
He then draws closer to the others. "All right, I'm ready."
