Where am I now?
This certainly was a surprise to the sphere hunter. She had been working in a city she thought she would be trapped in forever but when she blinked she was suddenly standing in a bar. Not just any bar either, she was in space. It was a place that she ad only heard about from stories and she never thought that she would be able to see it first hand. Her hope flared as she looked out the windows. This might be a way to finally find her way home.
She walked over to the nearest person, trying her best to stay calm. Her strides were confident and her expression pleasant. She thought about getting a drink but decided there was something else she needed to do first, someone she needed to find.
"Excuse me but do you know where I am?" She paused a moment before continuing. "Wait, on second thought, I think I might have a better question than that. I'm looking for someone..."

After deciding that she was here for the time being, Yuna began to explore the allotted corridors. She certainly looked like a tourist. As she walked she would stop, stare and then gape at the things that were unfamiliar to her. Spira had some technology but nothing like this, even her air ship couldn't compare.

"It's nice to meet you, Yuna. You're probably thinking of someone else. If he's dressed anything like me, it's probably Zack you met, but now I have to ask where you met him." Angeal's head tilted to the side again and this time he was a bit more serious.
He knew that Zack got around and met a lot of different people and the other issue was his terrible flirting that was often too embarrassing to recount at times. Angeal was far from that kind of person but that didn't mean he didn't have his interest in the fairer sex.

The last time she left she hadn't remembered but maybe it was because she wasn't home yet or something else was up. She placed a hand on her head as she tried to think. It was all to confusing for her to understand.
"I'm confused." It was easier for her to be honest to the winged man but she wasn't sure if he was someone to be trusted. Could she trust anyone here? Was she still in the city and didn't know it?

He leaned back slightly and stretched out his wings slightly to relax the muscles in his back. He canted his head to the side and wondered just what kind of a game was being played. He hadn't heard much about the goings on, and in some point he hadn't paid much attention considering his lack of communication efforts were a bit on the backslide. It wasn't his fault entirely, he was just a bit too proud to ask the right questions.
"You're not the only one." He motioned for a barkeep to place his next order of apple juice. "Eventually, you'll get used to it. I'll help out in any way I can, but I can't make any guarantees that I'll have an answer for you."

"Thank you for your help. It's alright if you don't know all the answers. Somethings I will learn in time." Yuna lightly traced the rim of her glass before taking a sip of the steaming liquid. She was feeling so many things mixed up at once; confusion, sadness, frustration.

The part that puzzled him was how well she was taking it all in without giving much of a fuss. Her expression changed and he could see the hurt even though she was hiding it. He made a mental note not to pry.
"You know, sometimes the least likely something were to come to pass usually does when the time is right. I'm sure you'll be happy to know that at least there is a chance that you'll find what you're looking for." It was a little pearl of wisdom that he thought he would share since it happened for Genesis and himself as well when they both least expected that little bit of happiness.

Yuna's eyes looked over at Angeal a moment before moving her head to follow. "What do you do while your here? I hope to keep busy some how, at least for the time being, you know?" It was the best way she knew to distract herself.

The truth behind those trees was a bit of a mystery that he hadn't dared said aloud just yet. Only two people knew that truth and that was himself and Genesis. "I could use the help if you're interested."

"I don't know a lot about plants. I tried to help at the flower shop but it was eventually shut down." She was still feeling a little sore about that.

He turned to face the bar once again to give his back a break. Wings were heavy things and to those that don't have them, they were a curiosity. He smiled to himself knowing that she might be just as curious and the drumming of her fingers told the story.
"Something on your mind?" Usually people that drummed their fingers usually had something they wanted to do or had some energy they needed to spend.

Her fingers stopped their drumming. She put her elbows on the counter and rested her chin in the palm of her hands. Yuna wanted wings, it appear to her to be the ultimate form of freedom and one thing she has been practicing was how to form them from the chaos but without Caius here it was difficult.

He tried not to dwell much on his father's idea of a master race and that bothered him. "You, Angeal, are perfection."
Hollander's voice played in his head and instead of talking about it, he bottled it up. He reached for his drink and downed it. As he sat the glass down, he called for another with a wave of his hand. While most drowned their troubles in liquor, he chose apple juice. It was healthier and it acted as a balm for the simpler times in his life.

Yuna wasn't one to describe things as perfect but she would use words such as amazing and wonderful. Perfection only comes from self satisfaction which she didn't encounter very often.

He thought to have Genesis apply the heat only since he didn't feel comfortable exposing his chest to anyone else. He couldn't help but notice that she was looking at his wings and turned his head to regard them. "I wasn't born with them. Some call them angel's wings."
He had to be honest with himself. He hadn't looked at them since the emerged without feeling some sort of ill feelings against them. All he wanted was to be human, and that wasn't possible anymore. With Yuna's admiration, he had to put those negative thoughts out of his head.
"You're welcome to touch them. They are real."

The freedom that they might mean was reflected in her eyes as she looked at them. It was a gift of Yuna's to see the good in everything and though she understood why something like this might be bad it could also be wonderful.
"Why would you call them angel wings?"

He didn't feel the need to discuss why he felt that way but something told him that it was going to be one of those inevitable conversations that it may just happen anyway. Something about her felt easy and he was opening up way too quickly. She had a calming air about her that she was willing to listen should he decide to indulge his willingness to speak about his less than stellar past.
"I thank you for the compliment. I get the feeling that you want to ask more about them. Yes, I can fly." He had shouldered a lot and with his budding relationship with Genesis, he certainly didn't want to be that burden to anyone.

"You know what I think. Words can have so many meanings. Angel can be a compliment, a burden, there really isn't a way to know but I think it means what you make of it. So even if its hard. You can still chose what it means." Her expression was gentle. She wasn't going to ask but she enjoyed speaking her thoughts anyway.
"To me, it looks like freedom." Her eyes clouded over as she saw a bright blue massive sky in her minds eye. "No matter what you can always fly higher. Nothing can pull you down then. Doesn't that sound nice?"
no subject
"You have the makings of a teacher. I hope that you'll find what you are looking for. You know, between you and me, I do enjoy flying. For now, this ship is doing the flying for me. Maybe one day, I'll take you up. Oh, and if you get the chance, you should check out the holodeck. You might be able to fly there too." He spoke honestly.
He wasn't sure exactly everything that the holodeck could do but if it could create a space through the technological magic that it created to allow them to fly as high as they could, he was certain that she could do the same.
no subject
She didn't know how the holodeck worked or what it was though others have mentioned it to her in passing so she assumed it was something that a lot of people enjoy here.
"If I can't, I might take you up on your offer of taking me up." If it meant that she could feel the wind rushing by again.
