[1st Transmission]- Emma Swan- Ten Forward|OTA
Emma looked around, nerves suddenly on edge. She had been about to walk into a study with Henry and Regina, and suddenly she finds herself someplace strange and new, and unlike anything she had ever seen.
And that is saying something, considering who she is, and where she comes from.
"Seriously?" She said, out loud to no one in particular.
She walked down the winding hallway, and when she paused,a door opened with a swish, and revealed a bar. It was a type of bar that Emma had never seen before.
"Where am I now?"

"Where am I now?"

"You look like you own the room."

"My quarters on Deck 8." He smiled a bit after saying that though, hoping it didn't sound nearly as acerbic to her as it did to him.
"I don't own it, but I do outrank them," Then he gave her a full on grin before offering her his hand to shake, "Admiral Christopher Pike."

"I'm Emma Swan."
no subject
"It's a pleasure, Ms. Swan."

Only one other person called her Ms. Swan, and she didn't want to think about him.
"So you don't serve on this ship?"
no subject
Chalk it up to the military training. 'Ms. Swan' was the proper way to address her until told otherwise. He felt, at least with his rank aboard this ship he should set an example.
"No, I was a captain of one of her predecessors though."

She sat down on an empty stool next to the Admiral. "So, Admiral which Enterprise did you command?"
no subject
Then he realized how that must make the Federation sound, "This is the NCC-1701-D. It's a popular name. It's mostly used for exploration now."
no subject
"What was it used for the first time?" She asked, interested.

And that made him surprisingly proud to know Jon, for as little time as he did, T'Pol as well.
"My Enterprise was used for a rescue mission that wasn't quite as successful as planned."

But they'd stopped the madman, and managed to use his technology to strengthen their fleet. Some Vulcans made it out alive, but not many. Spock was right when he called them an endangered species in his log.
"We arrived after the other ships were already destroyed. My helmsman forgot to take the parking break off."

Pike was a pilot himself before deciding to go for the Command track. It was something most young pilots did once, usually in flight simulators. Sulu was just nervous.
"Looking back though, it was probably the best thing he could have done. Most of the Enterprise's crew made it out of all that alive."
no subject
"That is a good thing. I have lost too many people fighting"
no subject
Her second comment surprised him a bit. I wouldn't have pegged Emma as someone who would have lost many, if any, people fighting.
"What do you do back where you're from?"
