If you see a bear. That's mine.
"Come back here!"
Yuna was running down the hall after a brown ball of fuzz running in front of her. She had changed back into her gunner outfit after the mishap. It was much easier to chase after the young bear in short shorts than it was in a floor length dress. Her feet lightly kissed the ground as she flew forward her eyes locked on the bounding bear.
She hoped that someone would stop him. He wasn't a bad little bear and he usually listened to her but this time he had gotten a little to excited. She could hear his claws click on the hard floor and she really hopes whomever he runs into likes heavy fuzzy creatures licking their faces.
"Daigoro!" Calling it's name did nothing and Yuna's heart sank as her bear turned into the lounge.

"Um.. yes. Sorry if he caused you any trouble. I summoned him and hadn't expected.." She looked up at Todd and smile. "Sorry. Guide." She was okay with replacing his dinner.
"Thank you for stopping him."

Her gaze flicked over to his torn coat and then to the table. "It's ripped." The bear was now nuzzling Yuna's legs as she stood. "I can fix that if you want." It would be a small I'm sorry considering the trouble she has caused.

Yuna had to restrain the giggle that rose in her chest. She shifted through her bag and then pulled a thin needle from its side. Most of her things she kept on her and she was used to having to fix her own clothing. "Here, let me see your jacket. If you keep wearing it it'll only rip wider."

He handed it over before sitting down. It was a heavy thing, leather thick and sturdy, almost as much armor as it was a piece of clothing. It had also seen much use, worn scuffed up in places.
Sitting down and leaning forward, he studied the strange bear. Testingly, he reached out a hand to pet its fluffy head.

Yuna took the coat noting the heft. She'd have to make sure she did a good job for it to hold together properly. This was one of those moments were she was glad that her world lacked certain technologies because it gave her a chance to learn skills like sewing. She took a seat at the table placing the jacket in her lap and then assessing the damage with an index finger. It wasn't so bad. She'd have to tact the two points of the rip before sewing it together so it doesn't widen.
She glanced up nothing how his hand gently pet the little bear. There was a soft rumbling noise coming from the fuzzy creature which could only be described as purring. His teeth and claws were sharp but he was a good pet. At least Yuna thought she had been training him well.
"Are you used to animals?"
no subject
"Still, I have encountered a few in my days."

"He's able to use magic just like I am though it's more primal." Yuna always thought it was interesting how animals connected to the planet.
Her hand was steady and with each word she threaded her needle through the thick material. It would take her a little while to finish it.

The bear snuffled at his hand, and Guide gave out a low, rumbling sound that wasn't at all unlike the bear's own previous purring noise. "Mostly I have met beasts of burden on more primitive planets," he went on to elaborate in response to her questioning tone, "or animals used for hunting or tracking. Always animals kept for their use rather than for company."

"I realize that might not make sense."
no subject
"I shall simply believe your word."
no subject
"I can try to explain it if you want. I don't mind talking about it. Magic's part of me and my world."
no subject
"Please do. I will admit I have been curious." He didn't think it would be anything that could come to use to him, personally. But knowledge was always knowledge.

"Well to start, magic is a part of my world. It's connected to the people and plants and fiends that live there. Everything is connected in a cycle. It's called the cycle of death." Her eyes flicked up from the bear and she was smiling. "Magic is just energy. Everyone has it and everyone can use it but you have to know it's there. I have tools that help me access it and boost up it's effects so that it doesn't wear me down so quickly but it comes from me. For lack of a better way to explain it, it comes from my soul."
no subject
"Your people must have a rather unique way of harnessing that energy." Ever the scientist, he had an urge to see if it could be measured in some way.

"In that sense people from Spira don't have a psychical form either. At least not in the same way as others. I think that is what gives us a greater connection with the planet and it's life force." Her mismatched gaze met his with a smile. "You see, when I die, my body will vanish. I will fade into pyrflies which is what we call the souls of dead."
She states things like facts of her world and didn't seem particularly bothered by these facts. "As for how we harness it. Everyone has there own way really. I've learned a lot of different ways but I don't know them all."
