If you see a bear. That's mine.
"Come back here!"
Yuna was running down the hall after a brown ball of fuzz running in front of her. She had changed back into her gunner outfit after the mishap. It was much easier to chase after the young bear in short shorts than it was in a floor length dress. Her feet lightly kissed the ground as she flew forward her eyes locked on the bounding bear.
She hoped that someone would stop him. He wasn't a bad little bear and he usually listened to her but this time he had gotten a little to excited. She could hear his claws click on the hard floor and she really hopes whomever he runs into likes heavy fuzzy creatures licking their faces.
"Daigoro!" Calling it's name did nothing and Yuna's heart sank as her bear turned into the lounge.

"What is this?" Though Todd seemed more bewildered than anything else, he didn't look all too pleased. The thing had knocked over his dinner.

Yuna, however, was looking at Todd. "It's a bear. I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" As she spoke a soothing hand moved over the bear and it began to calm.
She noted the mess in the area and the spilled food. She was definitely getting in trouble for this. Perhaps summoning the young bear had been a mistake.

"This thing is yours?" If it was, she owed him dinner.
no subject
"Um.. yes. Sorry if he caused you any trouble. I summoned him and hadn't expected.." She looked up at Todd and smile. "Sorry. Guide." She was okay with replacing his dinner.
"Thank you for stopping him."

Her gaze flicked over to his torn coat and then to the table. "It's ripped." The bear was now nuzzling Yuna's legs as she stood. "I can fix that if you want." It would be a small I'm sorry considering the trouble she has caused.

"Sorry about that." Her smile was awkward as she looked down at the girl and the bear. "Daigoro." She spoke the name softly and the bear stopped looking up at her as if he had done nothing wrong. Despite the claws and sharp teeth he was too cute to stay mad at and he hadn't really don't anything wrong.
Yuna held out a hand to Ahim. "Need help up?"

Which leads to an investigation on the bear's part of the newly fallen Alec.

"I'm sorry! Daigoro" The bear cub looked up at Yuna and then it's head dropped as if it was doing something wrong. She really didn't know what happened but it looked pretty incriminating for the little bear.

"Daigoro, get off of him!" The bear wagged his little tail and bared his teeth before walking across Alec to stand by Yuna's legs. She held out her hand for Alec. "Are you okay?"

"I didn't expect him to run off like that." She didn't know what summoning a bear in space would have done.

"WHOA," John yells, the whites of his eyes flashing when he sees the bear bounding toward him. Man, why do they always gotta be bounding toward him?
He takes a step to the left, then to the right, like a scared critter not knowing which way to run from a car, and then all but turns in a circle and trips over his own two feet. "Fnuh!"
He rolls over just in time to get a faceful of bear slobber. "Blegh, buy a guy dinner first! Geeze, when was the last time you had a tic tac?!"

Her palm reached out and pulled the bear back looking down at John with an awkward smile. "Sorry about that. Are you okay?"
It took a few more long seconds to convince Daigoro that sitting on the man wasn't a good place to rest.
Yuna laughed softly. "I can buy you dinner if you want." Though it would be replicated and technically Yuna wouldn't be paying for it.

"Yeah, yeah I'm g-ah," he gasps when he catches a paw in one of the more sensitive areas of his anatomy, curling up into himself. Yeah, thanks for not letting the bear sit on him. Really. He owes you one. "Great."
The word comes out in a squeak, and then a grunt as he rolls onto his hands and knees. You got this, John. Don't let them see you cry. "Since when are there bears in space, anyway? Is that a dumb question? I'm on the starship Enterprise with a Bond villain who can play dice with the universe, I think that's a dumb question."
Somebody remind him to thank Q later.

"I'm sorry. I summoned him here." Yuna hadn't thought that he would get excited and go bounding off. He needed more training.
She stepped forward and then sank to her knees so she could look at the man who Daigoro almost castrated. She lightly placed her hand on his shoulder tilting her head sideways so she could look at him.
"I think you'll be fine and yeah, that is sort of a dumb question." It sounded awkward when she said the word dumb as if it wasn't in her usual vocabulary.

"Hey, Houdini, man in pain here," he grumbles, pushing himself up until he's resting back on his heels. "You can summon bears?!"
Okay, so some of his dull confusion melts away when she gets down on his level and looks at him like that, hand on his shoulder. He glances at the hand and then back at Yuna before breathing a laugh. "Thanks for the vote of confidence. What's your name? And, uh, the name of your friend over there? Yeah, that's right, I'm talking to you, Bruiser."
If John can never have cubs again he's blaming you.
no subject
"Yeah. His name is Daigoro. His first owner was a warrior named Yojimbo." She smiled. "I'm Yuna."
She pulled her hand away knowing that he was okay and took hold of the energetic bear. With Yuna holding on to him he didn't seem in a rush to go anywhere. He also didn't seem very concerned about John. The bear yawned when John addressed him and Yuna laughed lightly at the reaction. She hadn't seen Daigoro act like this around someone and she found it interesting.
Of course he hadn't been around a lot of people outside of combat.

"This is a pet?" he queries when Yuna catches up.
no subject
"I didn't mean for him to run off. Sorry about that." Yuna stepped forward taking Daigoro by the scruff of fur at the neck so that Bucky didn't have to hold him. "He usually doesn't run off."
no subject
"He is big for a pet."
no subject
She looked up at Bucky with a wide smile. "I don't think bears are meant to be on spaceships."
