[Sickbay]: Round Fourteen Scans and Vaccinations

If this is your first trip to Sickbay, you may be surprised to see that it's a fairly ordinary-looking hospital. There are no terrifying devices or humming machines you might see in a sci-fi thriller. The biobeds along the walls are equipped with biofunction monitors, but look fairly standard. Instead of silver trays filled with metal tools and sawblades, there are an array of small devices that look as harmless as cell phones. As for the staff, they're all well-groomed and friendly — even the more unusual aliens.

If you're new to the ship, no doubt you've been escorted here by the security team. Nothing to worry about, the doctors just want to make sure you aren't carrying any viruses or are vulnerable to terrible space disease. Once you've been checked over — a quick scan from a tricorder and any necessary vaccines — you'll be free to go. Lollipops are optional.

"All right, step on in," one of them calls out as you enter. "Don't be afraid. It's just a scan and a hypospray, nothing to worry about."

"Well, I'll try to be as quick as I can so you can make use of that energy." He remarks, smiling, folding out the Tricorder and beginning his scans.

"How've you been feeling?"

"Outside of the nightmares which are being worked on its been tricky but I'm dealing best I can." Thea was honest. "But next up is the holodeck since outside of some training I'm missing being able to shoot and be a little more normal." she confessed. "And yes I'm being social too."

"That's good to hear." He passes the scanner over. "Have you thought about speaking to the Counseling team about your nightmares? They might be able to give you something to help it along."

Trauma often leaves lasting impressions, after all.

"Already in counseling for the stabbing and the nightmares are in progress of being stared down." since for Thea it was actually true. "Its also a bit lonely without Oliver and my friends but that part is a work in progress too."

"Oh? You hoping to strike a bargain with Q to bring them here?" His tone is light, joking, mostly. "It's good to hear you're taking care of yourself. Some people I've met can be quite bull-headed when it comes to self-care."
