Intro-ish Post (With Options)
This Doctor had been getting settled in on board the Enterprise - well as much as he can. He still baulks at the jabs he had to be given, but since they didn't contain anything that was harmful to him, he allowed for them.
Now, he has an agenda. He knows the TARDIS is somewhere on board and now that he has a map and listings, he's going to go there to find it.
The Doctor is making his way down to the cargo hold, but going about it the long way around. May as well investigate the ship on his way. If he can get to the TARDIS, he won't be staying long anyway, so he might as well explore something new as he goes along.
It's all terribly human. Basic, really. And they think it's the best thing. About the only thing he's really interested in is this Q character. He doesn't mind humans most of the time. He just doesn't like being 'stuck' with them. And there's so much humanity here - with nothing to escape it.
B: TARDIS Cargo hold Plot: Open To All
After his adventure with Trever and his cat, the Doctor finally arrives at the cargo hold that is marked as containing the TARDIS. He sonics his way in (whether or not that was necessary) and looks around. Some of the items look familiar and others seem alien - even to him - which is saying something. It isn't long before he sees the TARDIS, standing there in all her glory. He confidently strides towards her. When he gets there, he gives a loving stroke to her. "Hello, Old Girl. Now, let's see about getting out of here."
The Doctor needed to vent his anger and frustration at not being able to get back to his own universe. So he made his way to the training room. He had told Clara he had cheated against Robin Hood with his archery skills. But that doesn't mean he's positively rubbish at it. He just wasn't sure of his aim at a ship with rotating bits. If he were to be perfectly honest, which he rarely is, he just needs a bit of practice. He was disappointed that he couldn't get into the Armoury, so he would have to make-do with one of the holodecks. Pity. It's never quite as good as the real thing. Now, if only someone else with archery skills were around. Nothing like a little bit of friendly competition when it comes to brushing up on skills.
{{OOC: I'm happy to backtag however long people are interested in playing with these plots.}}

But Eleven's words to his TARDIS does earn a small smile from Twelve. Maybe KITT was right and they are in love...
"I don't know that it would work anyway. So, I'm not sure it matters."
And the hint of defeat returns. This feeling is too similar to how he felt when the 'Here' told him there was nothing he could do to save the planet from the trees.
no subject
Regardless, he didn't particularly like that defeated sound in his older self's voice. Since when did he lose his ability to hope that he could fix everything that could be wrong?
"We're all here for a reason. That's how it usually works isn't it? We just haven't figured out what that reason is yet."
no subject
He shakes his head to ward off any reply from his younger self.
"That's exactly how it works... until it doesn't. And you will never be wrong as often as you are when you are me."
He's admitting it. He doesn't do it often, but who better to admit things to than yourself?
no subject
"Is it really that bad when I'm you?"
no subject
Because some of it is worse. Much worse. He was wrong about the Dalek, but worse, he was wrong about Clara. And that still hurts.
no subject
He knew, on some level that he'd never be able to really find out anything, Spoilers, timelines, and all of that, but in 11's estimation, he already knows he isn't the last. That was a pretty big spoiler.
no subject
Not really a spoiler, since he's not giving the hows and whys surrounding it. But that was a pretty formative moment so early in this body.
no subject
"That surprised you? They told us they saw beauty in us."
Which they had, before that mess with the asylum.
no subject
As if hatred is what drove the Doctor, gave him his meaning.
no subject
"How can nothing else matter? It did when you were me."
no subject
At least without going into things that would actually be spoilers. He could tell his younger self about the betrayal that Clara committed. Because that was pretty telling as well.
"Still. At the end of the day it doesn't really matter. Not being a good man, doesn't mean that I'm a bad man."
Which he learned from P.E. Well, from P.E.'s love for Clara anyway.
no subject
That much was true. He really did just do the best he could, even in this body. A lot of the time his best was enough, and other times, it wasn't. There wasn't much he could do about any of that.
no subject
He offers a smirk. "We're still an idiot, though."
Because that is oddly one of the constants as he's gotten older. He always seems to be an idiot at some level. And even the smartest person in the room can be an idiot about some things.
no subject
"Well, we can't change everything about ourselves when we change faces."
no subject
"Well, no. How would anyone know us if we changed everything? How would we ever convince our companions that we're still the same man if everything changed?"
Flashback to Clara not accepting him, until he called.
"You'd think by now we'd have figured out a way to make it easier on them..."
no subject
Eleven wanted to ask how it happened, the specific. Was Clara there? What happened at Trenzalore? He knew he shouldn't but he wanted to.
"It was...difficult this time?"
no subject
"Well, we didn't hold it off in the way we did when you popped out. It was actually pretty quick. No glowing light. One second I was you, the next I was me."
Which is downright strange now that he thinks about it. As Regenerations go, it was the quickest if you talked about when the actual transformation happened.
"The Regeneration sickness was a doozy, though. Couldn't keep people straight."
He didn't even remember where his face had come from.
"Interesting, though... The TARDISes from earlier are here, but not mine. So, the question is: Is she up to something or has this 'Q' figured us out."
I love being the one who forgets...since I usually forget :)
"I think Q may have figured her out. I doubt he knows what to expect from us since he keeps bringing more and more of us here."
I could never play Eleven because I don't forget ;) It would cause a brain conflict LOL
"Well, that would be my luck."
If only he knew who would arrive a month from now.
"He probably has figured out we're rubbish without her. Not having her here from my time just adds insult to injury. And that leaves just two questions: how do we find this 'Q' and who's going to stop me when we do?"
Because 'angry' doesn't even begin to describe what he is. Bring him here, fine. Even the companions, as long as they don't get hurt. But bring his TARDIS, feed her gross tasting universe energy (well KITT had said that, who is he to question kit), and cut her off from him? Unacceptable.
I'm still catching up on Classic Who stuff, it's a lot of tv. And the audios sucked me in
He hadn't asked anyone about the gross tasting universe energy, nor did he really think of that as being a problem. But based on the way the TARDIS was acting, Eleven just thought she was mad at him...again...for some reason. It can't be because he doesn't visit. He does that every day.
"I've done some asking around, isn't harmful really. If he were I doubt he would let her in here at all."
OMG the Audios are brilliant! XD I have so many of them to get through :|
And his expression darkens when Eleven gives Q the benefit of the doubt.
"Really? Was I always so blind to things when I was you? I mean, you do understand that he's the 'bad guy', right?"
They are...I've been kind of jumping around from series to series.
There was a reason he was so proud that the TARDIS was his and that was one of them.
"And we've been the 'bad guy' too. Haven't we?"
So for the moment, even though Q was snatching people from their lives he was going to give him the benefit of the doubt. At least until Q does something that makes that change.
Me too, but I've decided to work on Main Range right now. 13 days worth.
He shudders a bit at the memory of Anti-time and Zagreus. He hides his face in his hand. And yes, he got a bit angry when he didn't find Gallifrey. They talked about it. Well, he talked. He assumed she listened. And then he thought about Clara betraying both of them by thinking she was throwing his keys into the volcano... Sure he was acting, but the question had been raised. And there was only one answer.
"I don't know what to do without her."
I'm doing the Gallifrey Ones. But most of them are on CD. So I keep having to wait
"We're not without her," he said, trying to be as comforting as he could. Being without the TARDIS was a scary prospect for him too. She was the only one who was around through all the centuries, the only one that kept him company. "I'm sure she wouldn't mind another visitor."
Gallifrey Series is Splended. Also sent a PM
"And yet we are. No access to her, so we're without her."
