[Sickbay]: Round Sixteen Scans and Vaccines

If this is your first trip to Sickbay, you may be surprised to see that it's a fairly ordinary-looking hospital. There are no terrifying devices or humming machines you might see in a sci-fi thriller. The biobeds along the walls are equipped with biofunction monitors, but look fairly standard. Instead of silver trays filled with metal tools and sawblades, there are an array of small devices that look as harmless as cell phones. As for the staff, they're all well-groomed and friendly — even the more unusual aliens.
If you're new to the ship, no doubt you've been escorted here by the security team. Nothing to worry about, the doctors just want to make sure you aren't carrying any viruses or are vulnerable to terrible space disease. Once you've been checked over — a quick scan from a tricorder and any necessary vaccines — you'll be free to go. Lollipops are optional.
"All right, step on in," one of them calls out as you enter. "Don't be afraid. It's just a scan and a hypospray, nothing to worry about."
[ooc: Sickbay is, as always, OTA and open until the next one goes up for latecomers! For new characters: tagging isn't mandatory but IC going to sickbay is. If you'd prefer to skip threading with one of our doctors, you can handwave that your character got a clean bill of health and a shot and were sent on their merry way. There is a post up in the OOC comm with more details about Sickbay and which doctors are on deck this month, if you have any questions.]
Room 1629: Chief Medical Officer's office

Never touching a door to open it, while convenient, also reminds him a little of juvie when he's going to or from important places. Sickbay counts as an important place and his stomach twists as the door opens and he steps through. What happens now? He doesn't know so he looks around for some sort of answer.
let me find out about prosthetics if you'd like IC info?
I'd like it OOCly, sure
"Do I need to undress or anything for this?"
I mentioned it on Plurk, did anyone get ahold of you?
Nope, PM's the fastest way to reach me
Ok! You should be getting a PM from one of the mods soon!
Got it!

Paging Merlin If Possible! OTA Otherwise
But she had promised to check in given just how badly of she was when she arrived. So Luna waited to be seen by a doctor and compared to last time she also has more than a few questions about muggle medicine.

he had been very concerned with her when she had arrived, and he was glad to see she was looking much better.

Beverly please? :3
It all looks a little dated to him, but he does have the sense not to offend the person who's potentially sticking probes in him, by commenting on it. At lest it's not what he'd call medieval...

He's not happy about that, feeling at a disadvantage already. Because his abilities are spotty, Phoenix has been on his guard somewhat. Unafraid at first, he now seems a little wary.

Mostly she asked him to move over here to get them away from the doorway. As he moves further in, she picks up a hypospray, the vaccines, and a tricorder to prepare. Once he seems situated, she unfolds her tricorder and lets it scan him to see what it may or may not find in him.

Any doctor works!
Really, too, he saw no need. They didn't even wear armour when performing their secrity duties. Just...cloth. He'd even left his rifle secure in his quarters, secure in the knowledge that even if his internal weapons weren't working, he could simply punch the entire security detail into oblivion if need be.
Perhaps the security officer had spoken from sheer terror when asking a droid to go for a physical. He did have that effect. But he marched silently up to a doctor, without any regard whatsoever for personal space.
"Statement: The primates in security uniforms insisted I come by to be inspected." The voice turned decidedly sarcastic. "So irradiate me if you must to clear off any germs that would trouble your flesh sacks."
Trever Please!
Hey, so where exactly are you putting this hypospray. I had a needle in the ass once, and I don't want to repeat that again."
Re: Trever Please!
"I've had that once or twice too. It's never fun, especially since it was my aunt giving them to me." Having an aunt for a doctor can be... useful at times. Embarrassing other times. Especially since he also knew she changed his diapers and things.
"But, no. There's no needles in asses..." He tilted his head a bit, trying to see said ass, though. It's a nice one. "They've moved beyond such indignities."
no subject
"Okay that sounds like the most awkward family thing imaginable. It tops dinner with the distant cousin who has no sense of personal space." That hasn't personally happened to her, but she knows people who that has happened to. "The next time you need one, I'd vote to get her to send in a cute nurse to do it."
She laughs, she doesn't miss him checking her out, and it's clear she doesn't mind. "So what's the new place to scan or stick a needle in?"
no subject
He gestured to the biobed. "Well, you can just sit yourself up there if you'd like. I wave this at you and it tells me stuff and then I poke you in the shoulder with a hypospray. It's all very boring now."

OTA
Somehow, he suspected he would have to speak with a physician about the matter. "Too many life days, the trouble is." He's fine. Really.
hope you don't mind late?
He and Kale obviously think alike.
"I mean, hello."
Late is fine!
He doesn't wait to be invited to sit. He's old. He'll sit when he needs to.
:D
He certainly looks his age... however old he is.
"So, I'm going to take a scan of you with this and then give you a vaccination. Is there anything in particular I should know about you, physically? I mean, I don't want to accidentally inject you with something that'll poison you or something."
A black cat appears next to Yoda and starts to sniff him.

Today on People Who Are Not Yoda: Gavroche
*handwave* There was no wrong journal
OTA
The Force at her side or not, she could still put a dozen security men to trouble. And they wore no armour. It was so easy to inflict pain on them. Especially that one whelp who had gotten too close.
She presented herself to the nearest doctor, head held high.
"Physician," she said. "I am told you are to examine me. A condition of not being...confined. I trust you will do your task well."
And that voice carries equal measures of imperial hauteur and unspoken threat.
no subject
"Of course," she answers easily, motioning to the side before she moves to grab a tricorder and a hypospray. "I'm Doctor Crusher. If you'll just step aside here, I'll start your exam. Do you have any allergies we should be aware of?"
no subject
"None," she said, with an air of quiet annoyance.
Though she was entirely unsure what this doctor would find, really. She had, after all, been brought back to life - she was unsure what she would find.
