It has been six days, give or take, since her arrival. Marion feels a stab f guilt every time she thinks about the meeting she should have gone to. Lives are on the line back home and since there are no truly wild places for her to go to for decompressing Marion is trying to find something to do for a distraction.
Someday someone will point her at the holodeck but this is not that day, clearly. For a while she writes a great deal. The pace at which she just plugs away at the large pad of paper she got her hands on would be a bit much for other people but Marion writes professionally and for other reasons so really, this is nothing.
She is lost in what she is doing for a while. Then she finally comes up for air. She blinks blearily and stretches to get the cramp out out of her hands. She blinks a little at the slight ink stain she has left but thinks nothing of it.
She goes to get a drink then and just leans back in her seat propping her feet on the side of the table as she flips back to the first page of the note book. She might as well see what came pouring out of her. She hopes that recent events aren't affecting her writing too much. It would be a shame.
