The L Goodbye // A Request from the Captain

Shotaro had a spring in his step and a whistle on his lips. He was in the best mood he'd been in a good while, or at least since Philip left the ship. Some holodeck time with the Captain himself in those Dixon Hill novels have brought forth a fantastic idea for making things a little more lively around here.
So he was sticking flyers up again, this time they looked like he had cut apart newspaper headlines to create the original, and then used the replicators to give it the look like it had been photocopied from a photocopy from a photocopy 10 times over, and then made dozens of copies to stick up with tape all down corridors, on walls in places he probably wasn't supposed to be, on the doors to personal quarters, and on tables in Ten Forward.
"The Long Sleep, starring Picard, and YOU! Join us on Holodeck 2 for a hard-boiled tale of murder, lies, and deception. Dress for 1941 San Francisco, California, on Earth, late fall. See you at 1800!"
Shotaro is sure everyone is going to be as excited about this as he is, and is even going so far as to stick flyers in peoples' hands to make sure they know about it. "Hey, you should come! It's gonna be a rare opportunity to see a real hard-boiled detective like myself at work."
((Pre-rollout for the murder mystery party! More information about who is involved and the kickoff will be coming along soon!))
