[ooc: due to a family emergency with Emma Swan's player, this plot has been extended to March 15th & 16th in real time so that those getting involved with the turbolift malfunctions and power outages have plenty of time to post their own logs for the event. The date all of this happens IC remains March 15th, and as always backdating is love. Thanks everyone! If you need more info the plot announcement is right over here!]

There have been unusual readings from the bridge. Small irregularities in the ship's operations, nothing terribly out of the ordinary — and certainly nothing quite so alarming as Q has brought to the ship ever since he has made his stay permanent — but enough to warrant inspection. Mr. La Forge has been running diagnostics all morning, and a dedicated team of engineers has likewise been looking into the fluctuations.

The Captain is on his way to personally receive an update on their progress, leaving the bridge in Commander Riker's very capable hands. He could just as easily be apprised of the situation over the comms, but occasionally he appreciates seeing things for himself.

(And perhaps, too, he gets bored with the command chair every so often.)

Entering a turbolift from Deck 10, he puts in the command to be taken to Main Engineering on Deck 34. There are others in the lift with him — the woman he has come to know as Ms. Swan is treated to a polite smile and nod. Her pregnancy is well along now, and he opens his mouth to make some grasped-for inquiry into the health of the child she is carrying when the turbolift stutters. He barely has time to hold out a bracing hand to ensure she doesn't fall before the lights flicker and the whole cabin grinds to a rocky stop.

Throughout the ship, both simultaneously and with some delay, other turbolifts suffer the same malfunction.

The planet they were docked at was interesting but Henry still found the holodeck the most interesting thing about where he was currently stuck. He'd found a few programs from the other Henry that the Captain had spoken about and had explored them vaguely. Today, however, he was in his favourite program.

It was simply one that had been programmed by Starfleet itself for practising hand to hand combat and the like. With levels so there was a chance to make the enemies easier or harder depending on what you wanted to use the program for. With his Keyblade, Henry had an interesting advantage and he found that there was even a safety mechanism that stopped you from dying. It was much better than the training grounds at Ruby City.

Dressed in a plain t-shirt and loose pants, without even wearing shoes, Henry was fighting through the hoards of different species trying to attack him. He always made sure it wasn't just one new species as that would be boring after a while. He wanted variety. Sometimes he had a simulated background as well but today it was just the chequered lines with the enemies appearing out of nowhere and disappearing once he had defeated them.

After a while, he ended up sitting down by one of the walls for a drink of water and a break. He would welcome to conversation during them but also wouldn't mind the interruption should someone want a sparring match or need something while he was fighting.

It felt like Henry had wandered the catacombs for weeks, though without daylight it was hard to tell. Managing to scrounge food and water from what little was available as well as taking in the vague sustenance he could conjure for him kept him alive. But he got very little sleep and his clothes were a mess.

When he finally found his way out, it was in a bright flash of light that caused him to screw up his eyes against it. He hadn't been in a place so bright in so long, it almost blinded him. His Keyblade had appeared automatically but upon not being attacked, he forced it back. At least he knew it was summon-able here.

Once his eyes had finally adjusted to the place he was now standing it, he looked around. He quickly realised he was not in Ruby City as he had been before finding himself in the catacombs. He'd been taken somewhere else again and he sighed deeply. As he turned, he found himself looking at a starry sky. No. Not a sky. He was looking at stars. He was in space.

Despite his dirty clothes being almost unrecognisable, he sat down on the bench by the window and looked out, wondering where he was now and if he'd ever get home. It was, of course, yet another adventure but he was once again without his family. He sighed again and spoke to no one in particular.

"Why me?"
