Visiting Pacifica (OPEN TO ALL)
[[ooc: Feel free to interact with Fujin anywhere in the locations listed in this post! (Though I know the one in the air is difficult for most characters, one can at least easily get his attention and he can come down) <3
Added note: The timing of this post, is roughly 3-4 days after Fujin's initial arrival. He spent most if not all of that time sound asleep as his body worked on healing itself. He was able to be cleared and leave sickbay once he woke up and got checked out. The day this log takes place is probably the day before the Enterprise leaves Pacifica (if I'm looking at the calendar right.)
I will most likely be tagging into the sickbay log when that comes up anyway so docs in sick bay can check up on him. :)]]
Arriving
After almost dying on arrival a mere few days ago (of which he slept most of those days), and still needing more rest to fully recover - visiting a foreign planet didn't seem like a good idea. But Fujin, separated from home and the life force of his own realm, insisted on it. He wanted to taste real air and be one with real winds. Real elements. Not whatever replicated environment the ship provided. His reasoning was that it would aid in recovering what energy he had lost both physically and energetically.
And so, the wind god had himself teleported down.
The moment his feet touched the sand of the white beaches, hearing the roar of the ocean waves and feeling the warmth of the sun and the salt kissed breezes - Fujin wrapped the winds about himself and shot straight up into the air. Sure it probably was a bad idea still as weakened as he was - but he was using the planet's winds, not his own so it would be fine, right? Besides, once he was hovering about a couple hundred feet up - all he could do was float with his eyes closed and arms spread, face towards the sun in absolute bliss.
It wasn't Earthrealm but by the Elder Gods it was wonderful.
Surprise nap/On the beach
Later, Fujin found a spot to relax on the sand under the shade of a tree. It was a spot close to the water where it was calmer and quieter. After being airborne for a while, he had grown quite tired. His intention was to meditate and enjoy the serenity of the area. But the warmth of the sand permeating his body and the natural world around him actually made him relaxed and drowsy. Sleep was a strange thing - and not something he really did. But there he was, sprawled on the warm sand comfortably and enjoying an impromptu nap.
Later, he even stayed so that he could enjoy the sunset and watch the stars come out. It had been a long time since he felt a peace such as this.
Marketplace
Fujin also took some time to wander the local marketplace, looking at the various foods and goods curiously. As an immortal, he didn't really need to eat to survive. But he really liked tea now and again. His long, braided white hair practically glowed in the sunlight, contrasting with his tanned skin as he walked along, content to people watch and decide if he wanted to try any food or drink while here. He was easy to spot considering his height and glowing white eyes. Anyone who spoke to him was met with a soft and polite word from the wind god.

And yes Fujin, she was following you. It wasn't that she didn't trust Raiden's healing skills(okay, yes that was part of it), but she also didn't like getting shooed away from Sickbay. And chances are if Fujin knew Raiden, he probably wasn't going to rest.
Chasing after patients was exhausting. Or would be if she got exhausted. But, like Fujin, being on a planet was nice. It was filled with all kinds of life, and even if it wasn't her sun shining up above there, she could still feel the connection. Life was everywhere you looked.
"I'm glad you're not dead." Trance called up, letting the sun shine down on her, the light causing the illusion that was her skin to glitter.

As he got closer, he discovered she was practically shimmering in the light of the sun. Curious. He hovered within proper speaking distance, sitting up right and cross legged as comfortably as if he was sitting on a chair.
"As am I." He nodded politely. "I do not believe we've met. Who are you?" And how did she appear to know him.
no subject
It was odd, talking to him. He wasn't a solar avatar, but it was obvious he had some connection with nature. And then there was his eyes. The same as Raidens. Hers. Except she kept her nature hidden. Or as much as she could, from prying eyes and curious natures.
no subject
"Loyal and incredibly stubborn." He agreed. "We've known each other for a very long time." He inclined his head. "I hope he didn't cause too much trouble for you and the other healers trying to help." Ah right, introductions.
"I am Fujin."
Just in case, Raiden hadn't told the healers his name.
no subject
She smiled, noticing Fujin's obvious affection for the other god. "You like him. You're lucky. It's been a while since I've been with my kind." And they really didn't like her too much. And those that did, well, they didn't see eye to eye.
Raiden hadn't. There had been glaring.
no subject
He rolled a shoulder slightly at her smile, returning it subtly with his eyes. "We are family. Well at least as our kind sees it. All that we have is each other. It just works out that we make a good team as well."

On the beach
He probably looks awkward, clothed head to foot in the warm weather but that's never been a thought to occur to him as he closes his eyes, sensing the winds, and smelling the sea salt on the breeze. Opening them, he wonders if perhaps, this wasn't such a bad idea. It felt refreshing to be even on a strange world, compared to the sterile one of the ship above.
It's not so easy finding Fujin without the Jinsei, but there's still enough of a connection, and he asks around enough, that eventually he finds his brother, and is surprised to find him sprawled contentedly in the sand under the shade of a tree.
The breeze whispers through the trees, and with a weary sigh, he simply walks over, and claims a nearby piece of shade that's far enough away to hopefully keep from waking Fujin, but more than close enough to make his presence known once he was. It was strange, his knees settling into the warm sand and looking out over the scene before him and knowing here he had no responsibility. It was empty, yet freeing. And here he had a chance to share it with his brother, who was at least resting for now.
no subject
Raiden hadn't been there for very long, when the wind god sighed happily and stretched, not caring that he was lying on the sand directly. He raised his head, spotting his brother and blinked squintily - traces of sand lining the angles of his cheek.
He knew then as awareness returned that the thunder god probably wasn't pleased that he came down here. But Fujin was in too much of a good mood to worry about it. Instead, his lips quirked up in a slight grin as if to say 'you expected me to stay cooped up on a ship near a planet like this?'
no subject
"I'm glad to see you're feeling better." There's a slight undertone of chiding, but it's not entirely meant. Raiden visibly inhales, closing his eyes and...settling as he kneels in the sand. His shoulders drop a little as he attempts to give into the beauty of the natural surroundings.
no subject
"This isn't Earthrealm, but you have to admit it holds an amount of charm." Fujin stated. "I have all ready drifted on the winds and by the elder gods it was wonderful." He lowered his eyes. They were still not at their usual brightness, but at least they were glowing in a healthy way.
"I am not looking forward to leaving with the ship. It's too contained and artificial." He added in distaste. The wind god valued his freedom like the wind itself - and hated to be restrained.
no subject
"I understand." Experiencing a false storm on the holodeck had been a painful reminder of how far he'd been from home before Fujin had arrived. "But we will endure. The ones who brought us here will not be able to hold us forever if we stay together."
no subject
"They transported me down here. Can you imagine?" He glanced back at his brother with a quirked eyebrow. Humans back home didn't have that capability and here, they were doing it with machines. "Once my feet touched the ground, I couldn't help myself. I had to go up there for a little while." He sighed. "The planet's winds were sufficient to carry me. I can do the same for you if you want to just drift for a little while." Though his personal energy levels weren't at their best yet, using the planet's elements were simple.
Raiden's words had a sobering effect. There was something about this planet that made him feel very light hearted. He nodded after a few moments. "We always do, don't we..." He murmured softly. "I wish to know more about who brought us here." He said finally, voice harder. They hadn't had the chance to be able to have a detailed conversation about anything since he arrived due to him not being awake.

Sure, why not, have a Kaylin. She can curse at the whole set. - when he is flying
She had been about to leave when a nearly familiar shadow passed over her. Her heart cried out with joy even as her eyes - trained as a Hawk's eyes - noted the key difference. Someone over her head, but no wings. Not an Aerian. But flying anyway.
She leaned back to look up at him, longing. If this was Magic, it felt like Elemental magic, it was a tingle across her skin at this distance, no more. Not enough to notice compared to the longing for flight. She fell on her *** trying to watch him, and where she might have been too small to notice at that distance, the wind probably carried much of her unfortunate swearing - in a half dozen languages - up to him.
<3
Winds swirling around him, he descended to touch down lightly on the sand - some of it swirling in his wake as the winds dissipated. His white hair was incredibly long and woven into a long braid. One of the most striking things about him (besides his height), was his eyes. They were glowing, though dim. Dim enough to see some of the pale green iris beneath the white almost pearlescent glow. He approached, holding a hand out.
"Are you all right?"
Re: <3
She also, however, took the invitation to speak while summarily ignoring the actual question. "You flew," she said simply. It was supposed to be a simple statement of fact, or possibly a question. Unfortunately, all of her longing, and yes, some bitter resentment that he was flouting what should have been a law of how things worked when she couldn't was there too. She protected and defended the laws. Part of what she hated about magic, it broke them all over the place. But she might almost forgive them, almost.... for flight. The only magic she wished for these days was magic to fix what she was sure had to be a defect of birth. She had been born human, and humans didn't have wings. Among the Hawks? There wasn't a one with wings that hadn't been begged, badgered, or bribed into taking Kaylin flying at one point or another. Of course the last time she flew with Clint? Involved a drop that she thought would be her last. But even trying to kill Severn in front of the Foundlings was not enough to make him that angry with her. She loved him for it. Also loved to tease him. Hear him laugh. Burry her hand in his flight feathers to make him swear.
When she got home, if she ever did, she should visit his aerie again. It had been too long since she had seen his wife, Setsi. Not since she helped deliver their baby. It seemed a life time ago, it was probably less than a year.
And sadly, Kaylin is open book enough that all of this was written plain in emotions on her face. Perhaps not the names, but the way her mind wandered, and her eyes kept flicking between him and the longed for sky... that was there.

"Yes. I am a physical manifestation of the wind." He nodded, his voice soft spoken with a hint of a rasp. "My name is Fujin." He figured that was as accurate a description as any - since mortals tended to be weird about the notion of 'gods' these days. He would never hide his true nature, and would answer honestly to the curious.
"The sky. You miss it?" He wondered if she was from the Enterprise, and if this Q being did something to disconnect her...similarly to how he disconnected him and Raiden from the Jinsei.
no subject
She forced herself to answer, remembering the sodden muddy windblown mess she had been when the Elements had wanted to tell her and the Keeper about Ravellon and they hadn't listened fast enough. So she tried, she tried so *** hard to focus on the conversation.
"I was born human, I have no wings. I can only fly when someone carries me." She regretted the words the second they left her mouth. Elemental air had no mortal understanding of little things like Gravity. He could well carry her... and then he could well drop her. She loved flying, she HATED falling.
no subject
"Yes. From Earthrealm." He said finally. "I only arrived a few days ago." Though he spent most of that time unconscious in sickbay. He truly was ignorant of a lot of things in this universe and felt a little lost. He carefully hid this behind a neutral, though patient expression - a skill he had learned over several millennia. Like the wind, he could be elusive and hard to grasp.
Ah, so she was human. Though there was something in her tone that he didn't readily understand yet. He pondered over this, while he spoke.
"What world are you from?" He asked. "There is much about this universe I do not know. I was recently told that people from other universes and worlds were also brought here. I hope I did not alarm you." He added, hoping he was at least reassuring.
Oh dear gods, is Kaylin going to say way too much, presuming that as Air, he knows.
LMAO!!!
ROFL. Kaylin is fun when she's confused.
This is hilarious. Fujin is probably almost as confused as she is XD
Kaylin opening her mouth and saying too **** much? Completely canon.
Haha!

And now you know why she was staring at the ocean, all conflicted.
On the beach after a nap?
"Good to see you up and out of bed." He grinned. "Last time I saw you, you were completely wiped out and your brother was worried sick. The name's Minoru, by the way. Pleased to meet you."
Sure! It could be when Fujin is enjoying the sun set :D
Curious. This wasn't the first person that had encountered Fujin today that had known him before he had met them. Sure enough, his words confirmed that he had known about him through Raiden.
"That wasn't one of my better moments." Fujin agreed, nodding at Minoru and sitting up so that he sat cross legged on the sand. "I am Fujin." He inclined his head, manner soft spoken and polite. "You are not the first to know me through Raiden that has bumped into me today. It is nice to know he is making friends."
He looked a lot better than what he did in sick bay, though his eyes still weren't glowing as brightly as they should. One could still see the pale green iris' beneath the shimmering white.
no subject
"Pleasure to meet you, Fujin." he nodded. "Raiden's a good man. I'm honored to call him my friend and lucky to have him as a sparring partner. He kept me on my toes the entire match!"
Sparring with Fujin would have to wait until the other was at his full strength, but Minoru would welcome it.
no subject
"That must have been a fine battle." He said finally. "I wish to know more about it." His tones were soft, but curious.
no subject
"It was a lot of fun." he replied. "We put the holodeck on random. So our environment changed every few minutes. Raiden's so good, I had to activate my Sage Mode just to keep up!"
Granted, his explanation probably garnered more questions than it did answers...
"I guess it makes sense now that I know your chakra is entirely natural energy. He wielded lightning better than any jounin I've ever seen. Do you use lightning too?"
no subject
Now the word chakra he did recognize - knowing it was old sanskrit for 'wheel'. A word typically used to describe an aspect of a mortal's energy system which helped generate the electromagnetic field of the aura. He could tell Minoru was using it in a different context though. Perhaps related. One thing was certain, Minoru definitely had an abundance of energy. Fujin didn't need to be a wind god to tell that.
"No. My element is wind." He answered with a small amused look. A word Minoru used piqued his interest. "Jounin. You are Shinobi?" He knew that he wasn't of Earthrealm though. "Where are you from?"
