unexpected arrival

starslingsWhile being a space ranger had gotten Ashley used to some pretty fantastic things, suddenly blinking into existence in the middle of a strange hallway on a ship that definitely wasn't the Astro Megaship was enough to throw her for a loop. She stood carefully still for a long moment, like it was a weird vision she was expecting to pass, but when she heard people coming she panicked a little, and ducked down an adjacent hall, pressing herself up against the wall to keep from being seen.
The strangers passed by, engrossed in the conversation they were having, and while they didn't sound particularly evil, she erred on the side of caution, for the moment. After all, she was suddenly an intruder on their ship, and she knew that if they'd found someone randomly appearing on the Megaship they wouldn't be immediately sat down for milk and cookies, more like an interrogation. Then probably milk and cookies.
Biting her lip she looked around and listened until the coast was clear, and then she brought her communicator up, wincing a little at the activation beep and how loud it seemed.
"This is Ashley. Can anyone hear me? I'm not... sure where I am, right now."
