[Sickbay]: Round Three scans and vaccines

New guests have arrived on the Enterprise, and that means Lieutenant Worf and his security detail are busy once again bringing them to see Dr. Crusher. Sickbay is fairly typical for a hospital. There are no terrifying devices or humming machines you could see in a sci-fi thriller. The biobeds along the walls are equipped with biofunction monitors, but look fairly standard. Instead of silver trays filled with metal tools and sawblades, there are an array of small devices that look as harmless as cell phones.

As for the staff, they're all well-groomed and friendly. As a matter of fact, all personnel look harmless. Well, perhaps excluding the sun avatar, but Trance Gemini is as skilled as the Starfleet officers.

"All right, come in," one of them calls out as you enter. "Don't be shy. It's just a scan and a hypospray, nothing to worry about."

Probably.

"Alright in that case I want you to stay here an extra fifteen minutes, just in case you have a reaction to the hypo." It was the same advice she'd given Dylan. With his Heavy Worlder metabolism it was good to be careful.

"It's up to you but I'd feel more comfortable knowing someone else besides me could put you back together. Having your wolf DNA in the database will help that. Why don't I leave you here and go tend to another patient. I'll come back in a little while." She winked. "I'll put up a do not disturb sign."

[psychowolf]

He didn't need the wink to understand what she was saying. He sighs, perceptibly this time.

"Make certain I am not disturbed." as he takes off his clothes.

When she has left he takes a moment to listen, make certain no one was coming his way. Then he gets down on all fours and focuses on beginning the change. Every bone in his body breaks as every part of his body changes and shift from human form to wolf. The process is excruciating but he doesn't scream, perhaps some low grunting.

After many minutes later there is a large over 200 pound golden wolf where Clay had been.

Trance waits a few minutes more to make sure she's given him enough time and parts the curtain just far enough for her to slip in. She stops, seeing him, and smiles.

"Pretty." She stays still for another minute, watching him, before motioning to the biobed. "One more scan."

[psychowolf]

Clay shakes out his fur before jumping onto the biobed. He lays down on all fours. If she looks into his eyes they are still his cold blue eyes. His eyes always watching her, even more predatory than they were.

Well, she thought he was adorable. Before finishing the scan Trance couldn't resist putting a hand on his head and petting him. He was so soft. And pretty.

"You are lovely." It probably helped that he couldn't eat her. Digesting an orange dwarf star was not recommended.

[psychowolf]

Clay snaps, not bite, at her when she touches him in such a familiar way. They just met and to him it would be the same as if she pet him in human form.

When she is done he jumps off the bed.

He has no interest in biting let alone eating anyone on this ship.

If only he knew she'd have hugged him in human form. And probably would when he changes back. Still, she backed off.

"Sorry. I'll leave you alone to change back." and she slipped out the curtain again.

[psychowolf]

Again Clay waits a couple of minutes until he is certain that he is alone. Once he is alone he begins to transform back. The process is just as painful and grotesque and takes just as long.

When the transformation is complete he takes a couple moments to catch his breath.

This whole process a bit discomforting. Normally he changes in a forest, not this sterile lab environment.

Trance ducked back inside and immediately noticed the lack of clothing, not that she mentioned it.

"You're all set. Do you want to stay here for a bit and catch your breath? Or do you need anything to eat?" She wasn't sure but assumed that such a transformation was taxing to say the least.

"And thank you." Trance took a couple steps forward, giving him a hug.

[psychowolf]

She assumed correct and his stomach answered for him as it growls loudly.

He notices her approach and he nimbly dodges out of the way at the same time picking up his pants which he puts back on. Not that he cares about wearing clothes but others seem to care so he wears them.

Trance pouted a little as he sidestepped her hug. But it was okay. She'd get him back later. Double hugs. She stepped out of the area and went over to the replicator, bringing him a plate full of steak, mashed potatoes and vegetables.

"I wasn't sure what you'd like."

[psychowolf]

"I eat everything." he says calmly as he starts in on the food. It's awkward not eating at a table but that doesn't stop him. He likes food.

[heartofasun]

"Good. You eat that, and let me know if I can do anything else." Trance popped out of the area, leaving the curtains drawn around him, to attend to the next patient.

He eats everything that she gives him.
