Talk like a pirate day - this isn't how it was at all (open)
Sam actually lived during parts of the golden age of piracy. These people's teeth are far too well tended, they smell better, the rum is a lot less... dirty, and who in all the hells ever talked like /that?/
But ok. So the pirate outfit is actually better than the stupid indian ones. And there's rum. Rum makes so many things better. Sam is wandering down the halls here and there, quite steadily, despite the bottle of rum being two-thirds gone, with three parrots having adopted 'him', and a couple more perching on the ornithopter that rolls behind Sam.

Yeah.
Veena appears right in the middle of the parrots on her continuing hunt to destroy ALL THE PARROTS!!!

She reappears on top of the machine clinging to it for dear life... because that made complete sense to do so in her little kitty head.
no subject
Hopefully the kitty can hold on, because she's going for a ride down the hall and back, and not an especially gentle one.

Who doesn't tumble so gracefully is Veena. She looses her grip a swing around and twists onto the floor with a splat. Where upon she immediately bounces back up and looks like she totally meant to do that.
Totally.

Sam whistles, and the flying machine obediently heels. "Y'all alright?"
no subject
Veena's licking her paw like she has no idea what he's talking about. She wasn't doing ANYTHING wrong at all.
Nope.
Not at all.
no subject
"I think it's this nonsense. Got to be Q again."
no subject
Now that she's proven that she's not done anything wrong, Veena wanders over to check Sam out and that ornithoper.

ooc: If it's too late to tag in, say the word and I will delete this! :x
For one, there's a touch of 'yarrrr' in her voice.
Amelia Jessica Pond is in a doorway, leaning (but don't cast aspersions on her sobriety, you cheeky gits), arms folded across a bustier that leaves very little to the imagination. Her skirts are frilly, boots buckled, long-tailed jacket just barely obscuring a plastic cutlass, and the tricorne hat perched atop her fiery locks is tipped at a jaunty angle.
In other words, Amy looks like she's having quite the time.
"I knew ye cleaned up well, but looks like yer not so bad as a scoundrel either," she calls.
ooc: Not too late at all! Awesome!
"If anyone ever said I was anything but a scoundrel, I'd question how well they knew me."

She's married, after all.
(Never you mind the smug look she's trying to hide.)
"Aye, I think you're all talk; your lady friend didn't complain none after your date, so my match-makin' record remains untarnished," she hums, moving out of the doorway and sauntering closer to where he be; "Seems rather gentlemanly of ye."
no subject
"Gentleman? That's another one I ain't heard yet. But it's true, we're getting on well enough."
no subject
This Scottish-Pirate accent should be wearing on her by now, but it doesn't seem to faze her in the slightest.
"Well now, chalk anotherrr up to an Amelia Pond success story," she preens, hands on her hips.
She's feeling so good about herself, she might just try doing it again sometime.
"Where arr ye going with all that rum?" Pause. "And ... all them birds?"
She squints at the one closest to her, as if daring it to start something.

no subject
"I have to be a wench to get a share of the rum now? Pah!"
She'll sue.
Just as soon as she finds a barrister on this boat.
"Just 'ow many ladies 'ave ye got on yerrr arm now?" she queries, arms folded.
