[Sickbay]: Round Three scans and vaccines

New guests have arrived on the Enterprise, and that means Lieutenant Worf and his security detail are busy once again bringing them to see Dr. Crusher. Sickbay is fairly typical for a hospital. There are no terrifying devices or humming machines you could see in a sci-fi thriller. The biobeds along the walls are equipped with biofunction monitors, but look fairly standard. Instead of silver trays filled with metal tools and sawblades, there are an array of small devices that look as harmless as cell phones.
As for the staff, they're all well-groomed and friendly. As a matter of fact, all personnel look harmless. Well, perhaps excluding the sun avatar, but Trance Gemini is as skilled as the Starfleet officers.
"All right, come in," one of them calls out as you enter. "Don't be shy. It's just a scan and a hypospray, nothing to worry about."
Probably.
[ooc: Same rules as before: this is an open log for everybody. Tagging isn't mandatory, but going to sickbay is. So if you'd prefer to skip threading with one of our doctors, you can handwave that your character got a clean bill of health and a shot and were sent on their merry way. For those who are tagging, we have Julian Bashir, Trance Gemini, and Rory Williams on deck, so please specify in the subject line of your tag who you would like. Beverly Crusher can be available if needed, but the player may not always be available. If you would like more details about sickbay, here's the wiki page. If you haven't made your intro yet, you can assume the doctors will want to see your character shortly after they arrive.]

"But all joking aside, it usually is an ill omen when only one of us is involved. It cannot be a good sign that two of us are around."

He's being optimistic, of course, but ... well.
Nevertheless, he returns his attentions on the tricorder and prepares for the Doctor's scan.

"Tell me, Rory," The Doctor began. "What am I like? I mean, persinality wise? Regeneration is a tricky thing and sometimes things go astray. But tell me without referencing events, if you could."

It's all the same physiology that the Doctor - his Doctor - had once described to him on one of their adventures. Rory, Nurse Rory, had been curious about what Time Lords were like, and the Doctor had told him. Shown him, too, though not in so much great detail.
(He'd felt a bit awkward, honestly, about the whole thing. Something about knowing him more than a patient.)
"Hm?" Rory looks up from the scanner, and tries to recall the Doctor's question. "Oh - um. Yeah. Yeah, you're - I dunno, you're a bit -"
How does one describe the Doctor?
"You like hats. A lot."
For one.
"And bow-ties.
"And you use your hands a lot. There's a fair bit of flailing and running, and making faces."
Rory shrugs, though he can't help but smile too. He and the Doctor may have had a slightly rocky beginning, but he's easily one of Rory's best friends too.
"You're reckless. But you're kind. You're loyal, too. And there's an oldness to you that keeps you grounded, I suppose, even when you're acting completely bonkers."

This is said with a faux-dramatic flair, one that was clear that it wasn't meant to be serious.
"Completely bonkers does tend to be a running theme for myself, just in varying degrees."
